XD I rather enjoyed this episode and for once I’ll give props to Naoki for being pretty awesome when the going gets tough. Glad to see him warming up to Kotoko despite the fact that I wanted to run his balls through a meat grinder. This week they go through the New Years arc but that flew by really fast I pretty much was like Eh? because moments later they started talking about making chocolate for Valentine’s Day. So I was wrong, this week actually wasn’t a filler (unless you consider the random scenes of the Shugo Charas racing as filler.) It featured the chapter in volume 4 where they have the volleyball tournament and Kairi & Tadase act as man-cheerleaders. Also featured Rima breaking out of her ice queen facade a little bit. At the end it was revealed that Kairi is in cahoots with Easter because of his sister. At this point I guess I have trouble seeing Kairi as a bad guy since I know what happens later on. Next week is following the story from vol. 5 featuring Yaya and why her Shugo Chara is a baby. I think we’ll possibly get to see her chara-nari as well.

Ok so as I’m reading and seeing this page I’m disappointed but I haven’t given up my Zero x Yuuki thing. All that of course changed the moment shit hit the fan. (Major spoilers after jump if you have not read this far.) Continue Reading »

Also known as Tsundere na Kanojo in my mind. Anyway this is the Japanese drama version of the Korean movie/drama “My Sassy Girl”. It features Kusanagi Tsuyoshi from SMAP (who I think is fugly) but I suppose that works for the lead male anyway as he wasn’t a cassanova in the Korean movie either. I haven’t actually watched the Korean drama to compare so all I can compare it to is the movie. I guess basically if you take the movie and then add some filler scenes in you will get this drama. It’s really interesting the pattern Persona has developed over the last few episodes. The episode starts out pretty calm with lots of talking and planing etc. We have some interaction between all the characters and when I’m tired I have trouble keeping my eyes open when watching. Then the last 8-10 minutes suddenly shit hits the fan, all hell breaks loose and I go “whoa wtf just happened??” That was basically the pattern this week as well. Continue Reading »
