Man was this episode action packed. If action packed was an article of clothing I’d need like 5 suit cases. The Chrona skirt pull scene seemed like it was funnier in the manga. I guess the animators didn’t wanna focus on ecchi jokes but on the action instead. That’s cool, I loved the part where Black Star jumped into the scene and knocked Kid out of his symmtery fits. I think the most impacting scenes were in the end where Eruka and that no future dude fell under the hallucinations of the Kishin. I was like wow this seemed a lot less disgusting when I read the manga. So yea it was definitely an impacting scene.

Upcoming Attractions: The back story on Stein and finally the conclusion to his & Medusa’s fight. (I swear they’ve been starting & chatting for like 3 episodes now.)

As usual Persona does not disappoint with it’s “shat hitting the fan” weekly dosage. At the beginning it shows Jun walking around and coming back to his house…where he finds Ryo sleeping on the couch. As he touches his head, he sees a flashback of what happened to him in the past. After the credits everyone goes to talk to Akihiko who explains that Ayane was the experimental subject of her father - also known as that erojiji who killed Ryo. The group is pretty shocked that he did experiments on his own child (who wouldn’t be?) and they also make note of all the “whale feathers” that are left after all the bizarro events happening lately. I mean Persona’s been pretty bizarre as of lately anyway but this was like 1 huge acid trip or something It started with Jun having telepathic conversations with Ayane, the girl with the pink hair who always appears to Persona users surrounded by a buttload of feathers. You know Persona is pretty cool. I have no fucking idea what’s going on, but I generally find it pretty cool to watch while eating a pot of nabe. I mean the first part where Morimoto totally pwned the rapist, that was cool. It was like Higurashi level cool. Afterwards I have no idea what was going on other than Ryou is hiding something from Shin. They introduced “Eiko-neechan” although she seems to be a sisterly figure to them rather than an actual sister (perhaps Shin has a crush on her ?_?) The last part with the random persona battles - I have no idea wtf was going on and why but it was all in generally pretty cool to watch. Kinda like watching a lavalamp ya know? Well hopefully eventually as I watch things will make more sense.

You know I actually am interested in this show enough to continue coverage. This week really creeped me out but I mean what the hell is with all the rape scenes? Also what’s the deal with this kagenuki anyway? And then we have drug dealing going on too wtf? Yea this is REALLY creepy but then it’s like whoa don’t you wanna know what happens O_O? I think the Kagenuki refers to when they have their persona thingies come out of them or whatever right? Also it seems like when the “persona” is defeated, the person becomes lifeless (kinda like in Mushiuta?) Well anyway it’s really great to see a show where you’re sorta left pondering the plot, kinda reminds me how I felt when I watched season 1 of Higurashi. I missed that feeling.
