You know by the end of the episode I was about to throw something at my monitor and I was like “after this damn thing ends I’m gonna go on my blog and tell everyone that I quit blogging it because I only have rage and contempt left for this show.” But then when Night started telling Riko that he’s made memories with her since she got him I began to cry, and just on cue Riko began crying too and we all had one big bawl-o-thon and then Soushi came by and saw them and got all rejected. Well the Mamotte Lollipop sequel manga has now officially ended and been released in tankoubon form. Before I go any further let me remind you all that I purchased this at Kinokuniya and all scans are done by me. If you further insist on asking me where to download “these scans” a giant pedobear will crawl through your window at night and haunt you for the rest of your life. So this week there’s a (very strange - I mean what’s with the voices in the background lol) flashback to when Yuuki and Kaname were younger as well as Zero. I have to admit, after watching this episode I’m starting to like Kaname more and Zero less. It’s like I dunno now that I think about it…Kaname is this yasashii onii-san while Zero is an emo whiny bitch. T_T; Maybe the anime is portraying it that way but my ZeroxYuuki thing is sorta on the edge of death here. I haven’t officially jumped on the Kaname x Yuuki boat here but I think at this point it’s safe to say I really don’t care who she ends up with - as for me both have its good and bad sides anyway. I’m not sure but I’m taking a wild guess at the possibility of Zero eventually going full bananas and dying, and Kaname getting killed in some vampire brawl, leaving Yuuki to be all sad and ronery like in the ending theme. Wouldn’t it be funny if I was right?

As usual Persona does not disappoint with it’s “shat hitting the fan” weekly dosage. At the beginning it shows Jun walking around and coming back to his house…where he finds Ryo sleeping on the couch. As he touches his head, he sees a flashback of what happened to him in the past. After the credits everyone goes to talk to Akihiko who explains that Ayane was the experimental subject of her father - also known as that erojiji who killed Ryo. The group is pretty shocked that he did experiments on his own child (who wouldn’t be?) and they also make note of all the “whale feathers” that are left after all the bizarro events happening lately. Picked this up yesterday along with the Newtype magazine. Also FYI the next volume will be released in the fall ;_; Such a long wait for Shoujo manga tankoubon releases… They really should turn this into an anime…it would be such an awesome shoujo series. I mean really if they can make an anime out of Special A, they really can make one out of this. The two actually have a lot in common - especially the part about the heroine being dense as a brick and the main guy being head over heels for her! I actually enjoyed this volume (especially the last chapter) but I was really disappointed as I felt the buildup for all the shoujoey moments was in vain…because after the build up - there was nothing.
