I wasn’t
really gonna do this since many people are really behind, but since someone asked here’s a brief review. For some strange reason the volume started out completely disconnected from the ending of Volume 11. For a while I felt like I was reading the wrong thing. I kept thinking “is this really vol. 12? Did I skip something…?” But lo and behold they didn’t “connect” the plot until midway through so I guess I have to give this one a thumbs down. One thing that really bugs me are chapters about sports competitions. I think they work better in anime format, but in manga format they often really bore me. I had to deal with this while reading Ouran and Kaichou wa Meido-sama as well. Continue Reading »

As I
mentioned before I’d be picking up Special A. It’s supposed to air on Sundays but the raw was missing in action. Hopefully next week I can blog it on time so my Mondays aren’t so crowded. So anyway let’s start with the character designs…yes those legs are really long. I mean I know they were pretty thin in the manga, but for some reason in the anime they just seem over exaggerated? It looks like Hikari is walking on a pair of stilts in some of the scenes. Continue Reading »

Monochrome Factor - I didn’t know anything about this show going in, and coming out all I could think of is “Yaranaika?” LOL is this a BL anime?? I’m googling everywhere and nowhere does it list it as BL, but it’s hard to think of this as anything but gay when some gay grim reaper shows up, makes out with the hero to give him “special powers” to defeat weird looking monsters..and then in the preview the gay grim reaper tells us of his fantasies with the hero. Also the only girl I saw in the show is so tsundere that every line out of her mouth sounds like someome has a knife to her throat. Some parts kinda amused me and I let out a chuckle, but all the BL crap is too much! I can’t take it!!
Can someone confirm whether this show is BL or not? If it’s really just a big homo joke then I may check out episode 2. Continue Reading »

That’s right
it’s an otome game where you get to do your brothers! Well step brothers that is. When I first started playing this game I was excited by 2 factors. One, Koyasu Takehito was in it. Also the guy who voiced all those dudes in the other otome games I played was in it too. (He was Leni in Under the Moon). That happiness was quickly dispelled the moment that their characters were angry and/or emo. Well it was still pretty amusing so I decided to roll with it anyway. Also this post is naughty, proceed with caution. Continue Reading »

Aaaand
we’re back with another 13 episodes of Da Crapo season 2. Everyone was concerned that I wasn’t picking up the fanservicy shows to flame, but that’s because I was saving my seasonal grill for this show! Since we know that season 1 ended on a shitty note, season 2 doesn’t start out any different. The ending of episode 1 somewhat intrigued me though so this show will be added to my Saturday line up. P.S. Yume is still a bitch. Continue Reading »

Omg I
called it. Let me back up for a second. Someone notified me in my last post that my Shugo Chara posts were a week behind. With that in mind I grabbed episode 26 and just as I had hoped, we get the Amu Ikuto teacup scene!!! XDXD This is so exciting I had to take a buttload of screencaps. This episode also follows the manga in where Kuukai graduates and Ikuto & Amu have some raburabu bonding time. Amutofans come on in! Continue Reading »

Hey
guys wordpress 2.5 is out! That will be updated tomorrow but more importantly, better late than never here is my Proposal Daisakusen special post. As we all had hoped, basically the special literally jumps right into where the last episode of the drama left off. The beginning of the special gives us flashbacks of what happened in case you missed it, but in case you did, you can always go back and read my posts
Anyway the beginning is kinda silly because they waste time showing Rei and Ken on the beach as usual arguing with each other (about the fact that if Ken found her shoe that was lost in the ocean she’d marry him right then and there) but concluding their argument with a hug. Continue Reading »
