Looks like Tanaka Rie is coming to New York Anime Festival. Wow a seiyuu whose shows I’ve actually watched! I think my favorite roles of hers are:

Chobits - Chi/Elda/Freya
D.N.Angel - Towa-chan (Towa no Shirube)
Hayate no Gotoku - Maria
UFO Princess Valkyrie - Sanada-san
Rizelmine - Kyōko Yachigusa
(wow I just realized she and Kugiyama Rie were in Rizelmine together before Hayate no Gotoku )

Anyway I gotta make sure I get in line for her autograph!

Soo since this summer’s anime (and drama - oh dear god Koko wa Greenwood sucked ass) season is poor and pale, in order to fill some more space on this blog I thought I’d expand over to my gaming side. A great episode this week focusing on Tadase and his desire to become stronger. It covers the chapter where Tadase listens to the wishing CD and instead gets brainwashed. Amu then convinces him (of course in her Amulet Heart form) that he is strong and then he charanaris into his gay looking Platina Royal poofy outfit. Also at the end they showed Utau as if like we had no idea that she was the one who was singing these songs lol. Oh well great episode anyway. In other news, Shugo Chara volume 7 is coming July 18th so I’ll be stalking Kinokuniya for it then.

So about a month ago I was contacted by the Marketing Coordinator from Dark Horse and I said I wouldn’t mind pimping some of their stuff on this blog. While I don’t really do news posts for any kind of releases, especially US companies, I guess I don’t mind helping out once in a while. Anyway Dark Horse is releasing 2 things. One of them is Blood+ and unless you’ve been under a rock for the last 2 years you should at least know what that is. Now personally I never read Blood+ as it’s not really my type of genre but I did hear it has romance and I recall following some reviews from TjHan and Omni on the anime.
