I’m sure by now everyone’s sick of the Eva movie posts but now that the DVD is finally out (no I didn’t bother watching the cam rip lol) I decided to do a comparison to the retro Eva DVDs that JP had. (I never had Eva DVDs because my Eva episodes were in VivTV and MPEG 10 points if you know what VivTV is. ) I had no idea what this movie consisted of but it’s literally Evangelion episodes 1-6 smushed into 1 hour and 37 minutes that have been completely reanimated with super CG angels! Since just rewatching them in movie form would be boring I figured the most fun thing to do is compare! And boy did the retro waves of 90s animation hit me hard. Massive image flood after the jump! I don’t care if the animation was ugly or their eyes looked ridiculous, I sat there crying as the freaking credits and terrible dango song played by!!! Before I go any further you know what the best part of this movie was???
