Haha this show is so much win! It’s good to see a heroine who after getting completely insulted and used actually beat the shit out of the faggot who’s responsible and then vow REVENGE! I like it already! Although her image change was so drastic she looked like a completely different character. The animation style reminds me of something I watched that came out in 1996 but I can deal with it. (Not sure why they took this approach but whatever I guess.)

I haven’t read the manga, and I’ll probably avoid it while I’m watching the anime. Based on the ending theme, I’m gonna guess that her love interest is not Shou the shitface but that brown haired dude. I honestly hope so because if she were to try to attempt to resurrect her feelings for that idiot or try to change him around, I’d probably stop watching. I mean, Itazura na Kiss ended already, who needs another run through it.

At this point I can’t really tell if they’re going for a full original ending or if they’re going to incorporate bits & pieces of the manga. The episode began with Aoi coming down from London and spying on Kei with Hikari’s cooperation. Unfortunately that only convinced him to take Kei back to London. Dense Hikari still didn’t understand why even after he showed her that Kei is the president of the Takishima company in Japan and has a lot on his plate. Hikari just sees him as “greater rival”. Until I figure out the deal with Itazura na Kiss and its airing/raw posting schedule, I’m just gonna play it by ear at this point. So as usual Naoki is jealous that Keita and Kotoko spend a lot of time together and he begins to treat Kotoko back like he did in high school. On the other hand, Kotoko thinks that Tomoko likes Keita and wants to “cheer them on”. Of course the only thing Tomoko likes is playing with human intestines. Continue Reading »

I really wish more people would be interested in dramas and would watch this one. It deals with a lot of realistic issues, but does them tastefully (unlike some abusive dramas I know ). It also mixes a lot of humor and sillyness in for a good balance making it my favorite drama this season. (Sorry I actually like this more than Seigi due to the fact that the I don’t have a desire to punch the main character in the face.) Continue Reading »
