Picked this up yesterday along with the Newtype magazine. Also FYI the next volume will be released in the fall ;_; Such a long wait for Shoujo manga tankoubon releases… They really should turn this into an anime…it would be such an awesome shoujo series. I mean really if they can make an anime out of Special A, they really can make one out of this. The two actually have a lot in common - especially the part about the heroine being dense as a brick and the main guy being head over heels for her! I actually enjoyed this volume (especially the last chapter) but I was really disappointed as I felt the buildup for all the shoujoey moments was in vain…because after the build up - there was nothing. This week features the fact that random people who “went missing” years ago are now coming back…but in the bodies of different people. In this case, Takurou’s father comes back in the form of a young woman. Pardon my french, but what the fack? I mean Persona’s been pretty bizarre as of lately anyway but this was like 1 huge acid trip or something It started with Jun having telepathic conversations with Ayane, the girl with the pink hair who always appears to Persona users surrounded by a buttload of feathers. Because all you guys pressured me into it I’m reading the manga now XD I’m only on like chapter 16 though but that’s still far enough reading that I knew what was gonna happen in this episode. So my thoughts so far? Kaname is a pedobear, Zero is still hot and should get with Yuki. The biggest question I have this week is….

Who’s the trap? I mean I recall in the relevant manga chapter seeing part of someone’s hair but I couldn’t tell if it was a he or she because they didn’t show a face….but I guess it doesn’t matter when it looks like a woman but sounds like a man.

I honestly didn’t want to blog anything that aired while I was at the con but since a few shows have ended it would be kinda dumb not to blog the last episode ^^; Well I took a 2 hour nap and got my sugar from that chocolate Easter bunny so I should be all set to hammer out some posts. So remember how I had those Striking Revelations in Shugo Chara? Since I’m reading a little ahead of the scans I figured some people may be curious. Anyway you know Ryu? That guy who the twins are always all over. Well now that the twins all have their own significat other, Ryu is kinda ronery.

So Ryu gets kinda close to the soon to be prince of London (England?) because the guy has like no friends and needs Ryu’s help to win Hikari’s heart. Apparently if he doesn’t get married, he can’t become prince etc. So Ryu helps him but they develop a pretty…close relationship. Almost BL close. Continue Reading »

So I think I was soul rocked this week too. I wasn’t originally gonna watch this episode because I think Yui should die in a fire but I did anyway. Now Hinata and Hayami are super good friends and they eat tamagoyaki together. Unfortunately their afternoon lunch doesn’t go so well when Yui comes over, bitches and kicks the tamagoyaki box into another direction. Hinata gets to see Hayamai’s snazzy digs and discovers that she and shota-Hirose were getting it on in the lake. (lol j/k!) Continue Reading »
