A really nice emotional episode this week focusing on Megumi and her family. Basically since she’s been staying with the school dorms she doesn’t see her parents that often. She’s also been adopted so she is not blood related to her mother. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong.) She once had a brother named Tomoya who died in a car accident that her family got in. I actually enjoyed this episode mostly because it answered some of my DCII unsolved mysteries. The one big question I had was why the hell did they call Yoshiyuki as brother yet he did not live with them and had a different last name. Well alas thanks to flashbacks it was explained that he came to live with the Asakuras at a young age (although it does not say why) and because he was living in the same house Yume called him “niichan” and Otome decided to refer to him as ototoukun. For no apparent reason, here comes episode 3 of Itazura na Kiss This week’s episode dealt with the sports festival. Before I go into the summary a few points of interest are Kotoko’s hair and the lack of eyes on all the side characters. She wears her hair in 2 tiny braids that stick out and make her look like Pippi Long Stocking. During the festival, even if the side characters/other classmates are in a closeup they still have no face. I mean is it that hard to draw something like (○・v・◎)? Also it seemed like Kotoko’s dad had the camera glued to his face 80% of this episode, even when they were eating lunch lol. Continue Reading »
