Just like Aroduc my old school fire is burning with delight the moment I heard Megumi Hayashibara voicing our orange haired heroine. I’m not covering Sekitits or Mahou Tsukai because I disliked both (as I pretty much expected.) You know by the end of the episode I was about to throw something at my monitor and I was like “after this damn thing ends I’m gonna go on my blog and tell everyone that I quit blogging it because I only have rage and contempt left for this show.” But then when Night started telling Riko that he’s made memories with her since she got him I began to cry, and just on cue Riko began crying too and we all had one big bawl-o-thon and then Soushi came by and saw them and got all rejected. I jumped the gun last week thinking the Maka x Soul raburabu hospital scene was in this week’s episode. I think it’ll actually be in episode 10, mayybbeee a little bit in episode 9 although I doubt it as that one is focused on the gag with the Excalibur. So the focus this week on the exciting combo of Stein and Death Scythe (Maka’s papa) since they were partners before Maka’s mom made him into a death scythe. Maka is shocked that her mom killed one of these types of witches in order to complete the Death Scythe mission. Continue Reading »

Yeaaa this episode had so much unknown vocab to me I had to go back and rewatch certain scenes with a dictionary. So YukiJun’s been captured but not by accident it seems. He went to the guys who are trying to catch the Marebito and asked to be used as bait. He expected to get captured but in the hopes that they can get this whole persona thing resolved and stop causing sadness and pain to everyone. The difference is I think when Jun volunteered to be bait, it was prior to him becoming YukiJun which is why he was like “I can’t release the persona now” but was captured anyway. Continue Reading »

As usual Persona does not disappoint with it’s “shat hitting the fan” weekly dosage. At the beginning it shows Jun walking around and coming back to his house…where he finds Ryo sleeping on the couch. As he touches his head, he sees a flashback of what happened to him in the past. After the credits everyone goes to talk to Akihiko who explains that Ayane was the experimental subject of her father - also known as that erojiji who killed Ryo. The group is pretty shocked that he did experiments on his own child (who wouldn’t be?) and they also make note of all the “whale feathers” that are left after all the bizarro events happening lately.
