Despite what my fanservice loving friends thought, I actually enjoyed this show. Perhaps it was the lack of huge cow hooters or the lack of crotch shots that made it pleasant to watch. Sure it had 2 big whores living with the male lead, but at least he doesn’t let them stick their vagoos into his face every 5 minutes and in fact he acknowledges them as being big ol’ dirty whores. Happy Memorial Day Kei!

He finally gets what he’s long deserved.

Well Chitose is just as annoying as Yahiro is, but at least he sorta becomes good by the end of the episode. Yahiro is a butthole and he remains a butthole as far as I’ve read in the manga. (Vol. 13) For some reason I feel once again that the way the scenes were portrayed in the manga was more emotinally impacting than the way the anime portrays them. Also at this point I can’t stand the op even if it’s just playing in the background. It really is beginning to hurt my ears to the equivalent of nails on chalkboard. Anyway baka Hikari of course follows Yahiro into his beach house thing and based on the preview he takes her captive in order to lure Akira (since he still has the hots for her.) Perhaps this is the start of them showing Akira x Tadashi get together.

I knew I made a mistake when there was Code Gayass on the cover but I saw “Soul Eater” in the fine print and a “BONES 10th Anniversary Special” so I couldn’t help myself… Continue Reading »

I finally read through my Inukami vol. 1-5 that I picked up a couple months ago. Let me just say one thing that will probably disappoint Inukami anime fans: There were no elephant wangs. I was pretty surprised but while the entire anime seemed to focus on elephant wangs and perverted mans who shake their parts in public, the manga just specifically focused on well..Inukami and mostly Keita and Youko. I’m not sure if this manga is still going as I haven’t seen any new volumes past 5 anywhere but pretty much everything you find in the manga you’ll have seen in the anime - sans the elephants.
