After much google talk discussions (and threats, lulz etc.) DS, JP and I are officially signed up to host a panel for NYAF on that Saturday (I think 9/27) afternoon. So those of you who are in the surrounding areas (and you know who you are) better show up For those coming, I have a buttload of my artwork prints to give out for free! As suggested earlier, I’m also gonna try to hook up a mic to my laptop that I’ll be bringing and try to record the entire thing in mp3 format to upload later so everyone can listen.

I got an email from Sasa-tan a few days ago about a movement against the ABC to promote collaborative work between female bloggers. At first I was like “lawl poor Owen” but when I read some of their topic suggestions I was like “you know this could be a pretty awesome idea.” It would also help bring out female bloggers from the woodwork as I know they’re around but some of them should really post more often So yea I decided to jump on the bandwagon. I don’t know if I’ll have any wild ideas to contribute because I feel like I’ve ranted about most things I could rant about but I’m definitely open to topic discussions if I have something to say - which is how it should be anyway. The topics seem like something that’s better discussed by a female blogger rather than a man trying to hide is wiener. So DS brought up this idea: Let’s run an anime blogger panel at new york anime festival! I thought “eh why, it would be all boring like that ANN panel last year” but then I thought from another point of view… It can be BETTER than the ANN panel cause we don’t need to talk about main stream licensed shit. Hey guys wordpress 2.5 is out! That will be updated tomorrow but more importantly, better late than never here is my Proposal Daisakusen special post. As we all had hoped, basically the special literally jumps right into where the last episode of the drama left off. The beginning of the special gives us flashbacks of what happened in case you missed it, but in case you did, you can always go back and read my posts Anyway the beginning is kinda silly because they waste time showing Rei and Ken on the beach as usual arguing with each other (about the fact that if Ken found her shoe that was lost in the ocean she’d marry him right then and there) but concluding their argument with a hug. In an ongoing effort to respect Japanese artists, I decided to use my random tegakis as post images.

Because some of you have asked I decided to open up registration. The only reason for this is because if you’re registered, then your comments won’t get caught in my spam filter. This happens a lot if you post a link of some sort or say the S word Anyway to register just hit “Register” under the META column at the bottom of the page. I’m hoping this won’t attract spam bots, but if it does I may have to close it and just do manual registration. (i.e. you guys email me a name/pw and I create account for you.)

Secondly I am bringing back Gravatars again. I really like them but I think I did something last time which caused my blog to explode lol. Hopefully this won’t happen. I honestly didn’t realize this blog gets that many hits so I never thought that it would cause a problem. (I still find it odd when people are like OMG IT’S HINANO!! XD I don’t see myself as a big deal )

This is just a page where I’ve decided to store archives of my previous heading banners. I wish I would have done this sooner since I had a lot of banners before but I didn’t save any of them unfortunately. I will do this starting from now on though Newest banners will be near the top.
