Ohmanohmanohman this episode had me pumped in all sorts of ways!!

Also, I’ve really given up on late show at this point. Based on the pattern of the last 4 episodes, late show has become basically a “sneak peek” into further episodes as they would either show footage or just run the next episode period. Pardon my french, but what the fack? I mean Persona’s been pretty bizarre as of lately anyway but this was like 1 huge acid trip or something It started with Jun having telepathic conversations with Ayane, the girl with the pink hair who always appears to Persona users surrounded by a buttload of feathers. So between last week and now, I actually read all of the Soul Eater manga released in Japan to date..meaning I’m up to ch. 47 and past volume 11. This means I have a crapload of spoilers but I know a lot of people have not read this far so I’m having a hairy time figuring out a good way to blog this show. Should I just warn people that there MAY be spoilers in my post or something? I’ll try not to spoil anything major, but for starters, rewatching the OP made me go “OOOH! A really nice emotional episode this week focusing on Megumi and her family. Basically since she’s been staying with the school dorms she doesn’t see her parents that often. She’s also been adopted so she is not blood related to her mother. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong.) She once had a brother named Tomoya who died in a car accident that her family got in. Everyone but him survived because Megumi who as a loli could use her persona, used it to protect them but did not manage to protect him. Continue Reading »

I’m so exhausted I don’t have the energy for any summaries but generally the episode stayed true to the story. Unfortunately I think next week is a filler so I may end up skipping it. I’m glad the anime team didn’t cut this part out and make up something about how Utau is his non blood related sister or she’s adopted or some other jazz.

…sucked but at least Naruto’s hair looks great because he uses Herbal Essenses!

So finally the movie that was hyped last year is out and I guess it’s too late for me to fangirl about it, as all I have left for Naruto is incredibly contempt and awful sarcasm. Oh well that should make this blog entry somewhat amusing to read. Continue Reading »
