I haven’t blogged this show the last few weeks because I’d download the episode and then just skim through it. It turns out that Sakura’s childhoo memory was revealed in the last episode making it so basically you can just watch ep 1 and ep 10 and not really miss out on the “plot”. What happened was they were supposed to kidnap Udagawa shota cause he’s rich, but they made a mistake and kidnapped Sakura instead. Miyuki-sensei was there and she wanted to save her so she played devil’s advocate and made a lie about one of the guys involved in the kidnapping. With this she also was forced to kill 2 people because one of them wanted to blackmail her for the incident. The only funny part in this episode was at the end where Sakura remembered that Udagawa-shota fell for her when she was a loli. Eh can’t say much for this series, it was really disappointing.

So we’re about a week away from Anime Next. This evening I’m gonna gather with fellow panelists so we can make some plans for the eroge/otoge panel happening at Anime Next, Saturday June 21st at 9:30 PM in Panel 1 room. (Hopefully this won’t change but be on the lookout for any schedule adjustments if you’re going to the con.) I’m recycling my cosplay so I’ll be doing Reborn Haru & Shugo Chara Amu once again. (Soul Eater will have to wait till NYAF.) On the topic of cons, NYAF’s having a mascot contest - and I entered! So as a shameless self promo, please vote for me at Anime Next. Recently one of my readers asked me what the deal was with me not blogging Vampire Knight for like 2 weeks. Well besides the fact that NicoNico keeps deleting anime episodes, Winny stopped working ever since I upgraded to Vista, no one uploads it to Veoh or Tokyo Toshokan on time, I found myself getting frustrated watching the same thing that I have already experienced in the manga. Unlike with Soul Eater where I’m excited to see the manga “come to life”, when I watch Vampire Knight all I do is roll my eyes going “oh not again, when can we get to the good part already.” Continue Reading »

Just saw this post at alafista. This cursed endless manga is finally gonna end. I haven’t actually bothered to read the rest of the manga because the anime was so god damn long (although compared to Naruto that number now seems pale ) Can someone please tell me though: Who does Inuyasha end up with? Kagome or Kikyo? That’s all I wanna know. I really don’t care who the hell they defeat to get that stupid jewel and how many times Sango’s brother has to come back to life and die. I bet if I just read the last chapter, it’ll all make sense without me having to have read the 15 volumes in between.

I’m a little late on this but whatever. My prayers were answered (or the mangaka read my blog ) because the D.N.Angel manga is back to being serialized in Asuka and to hopefully finish a story that began almost 10 years ago. As usual the art is full of pretty boys and girls and I’m fangirlsqueeing over the fact that the big point of the chapter is “Dark is falling in love with Risa”.
