Just saw this post at alafista. This cursed endless manga is finally gonna end. I haven’t actually bothered to read the rest of the manga because the anime was so god damn long (although compared to Naruto that number now seems pale ) Can someone please tell me though: Who does Inuyasha end up with? Kagome or Kikyo? That’s all I wanna know. I really don’t care who the hell they defeat to get that stupid jewel and how many times Sango’s brother has to come back to life and die. I bet if I just read the last chapter, it’ll all make sense without me having to have read the 15 volumes in between.

I’m a little late on this but whatever. My prayers were answered (or the mangaka read my blog ) because the D.N.Angel manga is back to being serialized in Asuka and to hopefully finish a story that began almost 10 years ago. As usual the art is full of pretty boys and girls and I’m fangirlsqueeing over the fact that the big point of the chapter is “Dark is falling in love with Risa”. Now my Dark x Risa and Riku x Daisuke shipping boat is sailing full speed ahead. Grab your copy at Turtle Paradise and drop them a line of thanks for bringing these chapters over.

You know I had almost thought this was a great chapter up until the last page. I mean the last page just dropped the bomb of predictability on the entire story making all the readers’ comments on this blog “true” in regards to the ultimate prediction of: Sasuke will fight Naruto as the grand finale. You know what else is predictable? Neither of them will win, they will once again see the err of their ways, hug, kiss makeup buttsecks followed by Naruto becoming Hokage, the end. Well the Mamotte Lollipop sequel manga has now officially ended and been released in tankoubon form. Before I go any further let me remind you all that I purchased this at Kinokuniya and all scans are done by me. If you further insist on asking me where to download “these scans” a giant pedobear will crawl through your window at night and haunt you for the rest of your life. Picked this up yesterday along with the Newtype magazine. Also FYI the next volume will be released in the fall ;_; Such a long wait for Shoujo manga tankoubon releases… They really should turn this into an anime…it would be such an awesome shoujo series. I mean really if they can make an anime out of Special A, they really can make one out of this. The two actually have a lot in common - especially the part about the heroine being dense as a brick and the main guy being head over heels for her! I actually enjoyed this volume (especially the last chapter) but I was really disappointed as I felt the buildup for all the shoujoey moments was in vain…because after the build up - there was nothing. Well it looks like we finally hit the big 4 - 0 - 0…and the manga has turned into an Uchiha pity fest featuring Konoha as the bad guys. I guess now we can see where Danzou was involved (but he seemed suspicious from the start) but then it makes the rest of Konoha seem like a bunch of evil assholes who once again oppressed the Uchihas + Naruto.
