Also I can’t believe we’re almost at chapter 400 =_=; Oh woe is us, Uchiha were the poor defenseless clan that Konoha hated! Now the buttsecks relationship between Sasuke and Naruto is stronger because Naruto was ALSO oppressed. Wow Konoha village people are just a bunch of oppressive assholes who gang up on everyone relating to the Uchiha! I finally read through my Inukami vol. 1-5 that I picked up a couple months ago. Let me just say one thing that will probably disappoint Inukami anime fans: There were no elephant wangs. I was pretty surprised but while the entire anime seemed to focus on elephant wangs and perverted mans who shake their parts in public, the manga just specifically focused on well..Inukami and mostly Keita and Youko. I’m not sure if this manga is still going as I haven’t seen any new volumes past 5 anywhere but pretty much everything you find in the manga you’ll have seen in the anime - sans the elephants. And so after 5 years the Karin manga comes to a close. While it was actually a shounen (seinen maybe?) manga, the ending made it feel like a shoujo one to me lol. Whatever though, it was satisfying and it brought me to tears so I give it a 5 star rating and recommend everyone check it out. (Although with the English version being called Chibi Vampire I’m recommending the Japanese one or a scanlation if possible. )

Anyway the plot leaves off at volume 13 where Karin was being captured by Bridget and vampire buddies along with Tachibana and her uncle. Continue Reading »

So about a month ago I was contacted by the Marketing Coordinator from Dark Horse and I said I wouldn’t mind pimping some of their stuff on this blog. While I don’t really do news posts for any kind of releases, especially US companies, I guess I don’t mind helping out once in a while. Anyway Dark Horse is releasing 2 things. One of them is Blood+ and unless you’ve been under a rock for the last 2 years you should at least know what that is. Now personally I never read Blood+ as it’s not really my type of genre but I did hear it has romance and I recall following some reviews from TjHan and Omni on the anime.
