Woooooww they changed so many things around I have to rant. All the great things about the love of the “robot boyfriend” that were in the manga were basically thrown out in the drama. I mean really what’s the point of calling it “absolute boyfriend” when they coulda just called it “absolute robot lover” or something. So it turns out Riko really DID pay for Night. One of my readers (akon) explained to me that she took out a 70 year loan (I was wondering what that 70 year thing referred to!) But I guess technically she still purchased him right? Now that he is officially hers that changes a lot of things! Like for example, since she bought him, you’d think they’d be able to put a “lock” on him so that if another girl kisses him he wouldn’t reset. And so Riko’s life continues with Night. He begins her days by asking for a wakeup kiss and immediately getting a “NO” from her. I mean I know he’s a robot man, but he’s so freaking hot, why is she resisting! He also flexes and exercises in front of her since her ideal man was to be somewhat physically fit. Woohoo it’s finally here! So I was really excited for the manga to finally be turned into a jdrama, however there is a mass amount of changes that have been made. Do I care? Well not really. Actually I’m kind of enjoying it despite all this. Some changes are good some are bad but overall the “skeleton” of the plot has remained the same. Actually come to think of it this is basically the girl version of Weird Science and it takes place in Japan instead of America. Alright so let’s begin with the cast. Our heroine Riko is played by Aibu Saki, Night is played by Hayami Mokomichi and Soshi by Mizushima Hiro (who looks like MatsuJun without the moles.) Continue Reading »
