This episode wasn’t exactly
what I had expected it to be based on the preview. I thought that Satoshi & Wataru were gonna fight over Kayo but that was sooo not what happened this week. o_o; At first, both Satoshi & Wataru are nervous around Kayo and Osamu only takes advantage of this by making fun of them. He also gives Kayo a lecture that she should be picking up the important manga pages by hand rather than asking a delivery boy to get them because “she has issues”. Continue Reading »

I officially declare this drama
better than Hana Yori Dango 2 >D!!! This episode made me dokidoki in all kinds of ways. Kayo’s looks over the character/layout sheets for the next chapter and tells the 4 brothers that the ending doesn’t make her go “kyun” or “tokimeki” (aka feel all fluffy inside.) She asks them to somehow redo it but when they ask her for suggestions she gives the cliches like “hugging on a ship” and “dying in the ocean for your lover.” When they ask her to think back on her experiences she says she hasn’t really had any in the last 5 years….but she counters them with the same question…once again sending Osamu into a frenzy. I’ve been preoccupied
with late night work shifts hence why today I will attempt to blog all of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I’m glad to see a few of you guys are keeping up with this drama because it’s actually one of the only 2 dramas I picked up this season. I didn’t like anything else I watched unfortunately. Anyway the episodes shows that Osamu wants to give a girl he likes a present and it’s a weird looking kabuki-ish mask. His brothers tell him that’s not the kind of present that will make her happy and he complains why not. They basically tell him that he’s an otaku and the crap he collects isn’t going to interest girls. Continue Reading »

This is the
other drama I decided to pick up. When I read the story premise on d-addicts wiki I had to watch it. Basically the premise is a magazine writer gets laid off and the first job her boss recommends her to is being an assistant of a “female” mangaka “Hanazono Yuriko”…but little does she know who this person really is. Please do not confuse this with the old 80s anime or the yuri manga; this drama is not based on either one. When I heard the opening for the drama I bounced up & down cause it happens to be Amuro Namie’s new single “Baby Don’t Cry”!!
