You know the ending made me cry, but not the part with Sano lawl! While I admit that Sano acted probably his best in this episode than he did the whole series, the award for best male of the show clearly goes to Nakatsu, and in MY mind him and Mizuki are this drama’s OTP! (I don’t care what the manga says because apparently manga Sano isn’t a big jackass.) Anyway the 3 dorm leaders find out that Mizuki is a girl because they accidentally catch her changing. I have no idea what the point of the whole guys competition was…other than to show Sano & Nakatsu going at it for Mizuki. Even if Sano was a little more likeable in this episode, it doesn’t redeem the fact that throughout this drama he was a fucking dick. Mizuki asked the nurse guy if Nakatsu knows that she’s a girl and the guy said “don’t worry he won’t rat you out”. Sano manages to make the high jump thanks to Mizuki yelling out a suggestion from his dad…who he also made up with in the episode. Nakatsu also tells Mizuki she doesn’t have to give him an answer right away. She ends up dropping her passport and the leader of the girls school finds it. She reports her findings to the dorm leaders - saying there’s a female at their school. I never read the manga but this all seems like a completely alternate universe. Maybe jdramas are just based on a concept and the directors do whatever the hell they want with it using bits & pieces from the manga to help them. ?_?

Upcoming Attractions: Next week is the last episode - although it doesn’t look like Mizuki technically ends up with anybody.

I had intended to doa full summary but yea you can thank Bluehost, Dreamhost and Timewarner for all this stupidity. I did want to write my thoughts on the episode as I thoroughly enjoyed it. So it looks like the writers dicided to show Sano as being a cold jerk again just so Nakatsu could shine as the bishie nice guy…who as usual Mizuki is gona reject to be with the cold jerk. Sigh. It’s sorta disappointing to see them make Nakatsu out to be such a great guy and then still have Mizuki chasing after Sano like a drooling dog. It seems things are falling into the cliche of the son who thinks his dad is bad but it’s all one huge misunderstanding - because Sano’s dad WAS there when their mother was dying. Sano’s just a retard who doesn’t wanna hear the truth. Blah I think I’ve seen this trend in like 20 other series.

Upcoming Attractions: Looks like nothing changes between Mizuki & Nakatsu, however word seems to spread that there’s a “girl” at the boys school.

I HATE YOU DREAMHOST. My post got erased. Not re-writing it. =_=; All that matters anyway is that now Nakatsu knows that Mizuki is a girl and looks like he’s going to confess his feelings to her next week. Also this is all of JP’s fault for not switching hosts despite the fact that Dreamhost has been a POS since last year.

So while Sano’s frozen exterior is starting to thaw a bit and he’s getting more shy around Mizuki…I am still not “supportive” of their relationship. Someone mentioned in a previous entry comment that in the Taiwanese version it was more romantic, while in the Japanese version it’s more comedic. I gotta admit I laugh out loud at least once every time I watch these episodes…but as I’ve mentioned in every one of my posts, I really wish Mizuki would end up with Shuichi. Or at least - I’d like to see Shuichi discover she’s a girl, have some cheesy hug/kiss scene and then get rejected before she runs off to Sano. :[ The “sidestory” this week of “oh noes the school is gonna close let’s collect money” wasn’t that interesting. Wow so the directors really are trying to make Oguri Shun look like a star of some yaoi manga. What’s with all the kissing? I mean the joke kinda got old after he kissed Mizuki and she found out he kissed every guy in the dorm. The worst part is the guy who he kissed this week…seemed like he enjoyed it O_O;. So now that Sano did a “high jump” Mizuki thinks her purpose to be at the school is finished…and she should now pack her things up and go back to America. So this episode was a lot better than I expected because it wasn’t a repeat of “YOU HAVE TO GO BACK TO AMERICA” like it was with Mizuki’s brother. Anyway Shuichi is trying to figure out if Mizuki “likes” anyone because he thinks that perhaps it may be him. I think he gets this idea is because when he is able to go back to his room, Mizuki asks if he could stay a bit longer. Poor Shuichi of course can’t refuse. Sigh. I seriously wish we’d get some weird drama twist and have her end up with him but I know that won’t happen T_T. Continue Reading »
