Woooooww
they changed so many things around I have to rant. All the great things about the love of the “robot boyfriend” that were in the manga were basically thrown out in the drama. I mean really what’s the point of calling it “absolute boyfriend” when they coulda just called it “absolute robot lover” or something. He’s not Riko’s boyfriend in her eyes and never was since day one. Even when her “best friend” (which was demoted to “friend” this week) takes him, she goes off flirting with her boss. Wtf

So about
the only thing I look forward to in this show is the time Udagawa spends at Sakura’s house with Sakura’s sister being all like “come on oneechan this is your future husband. Now I will leave the young couple alone to themselves”
You go girl! LOL. As usual the criminal was pretty predictable. The twist was that she killed the guy because he threatened to post naked pics of her if she decided to leave his stage troop to get a role as a movie actress. Lesson of the day ladies, don’t let anyone (even your lover) take naked pics of you because they will always be used against you!
At the end they showed a bit more of Sakura’s childhood flashback. Hopefully they’ll start going into that within the next few episodes.
Upcoming Attractions: Aliens.

So it turns out
Riko really DID pay for Night. One of my readers (akon) explained to me that she took out a 70 year loan (I was wondering what that 70 year thing referred to!) But I guess technically she still purchased him right? Now that he is officially hers that changes a lot of things! Like for example, since she bought him, you’d think they’d be able to put a “lock” on him so that if another girl kisses him he wouldn’t reset. It’s like buying a cell phone without a password protection on it that if you lose it anyone can just grab it and go. Continue Reading »

Unfortunately I
am not going to continue watching or blogging this show. It’s not a “sassy” girl at this point, it’s just a fucking cock blocker bitch. Also the plot of the show seems very clear to me: The main guy likes a girl, he gets cockblocked by the sassy girl, the girl he likes picks another guy, sassy girl feels bad and suddenly falls for the main guy, more of their random adventures the end. It was just so blah to me that after 20 or so minutes I could no longer watch it. I was sitting there thinking “how much of a bitch can she get and how much of her shit is he gonna put up with??” Rejecting dinner just to save some random bitch who claims she’s being stalked? Wtf? Couldn’t they at least pick more realistic ways to portray her “sassyness” or ones that are less cruel? Also in the KR movie at least she was his girlfriend (or somewhat of one) so he sorta had a reason to do what she told him…while in here he clearly has no feelings for her yet he still does what she says what the hell. Meh, if you like this sorta thing I guess you can keep watching, as for me I’m out.

Eh well
same setup this week. The only thing that amused me was how Sakura managed to randomly insert herself into a gossip between girls and they didn’t notice until the end and were like “wait…who are you?” and she’d do her “I’m the new 17 year old transfer student hehe!”
Also this week the murder happened by accident…basically the teacher was jealous of her “lover” teacher because of a rumor she heard about him getting it on with a student lol. I also liked the “Sandy” whose “Father is American” and her part time job was being a gravure model lol. No other development otherwise, I have a feeling we may not see any until maybe eps 7 or 8.
Upcoming Attractions: Udagawa & Sakura go to solve crime at the beach.

Also known
as Tsundere na Kanojo in my mind.
Anyway this is the Japanese drama version of the Korean movie/drama “My Sassy Girl”. It features Kusanagi Tsuyoshi from SMAP (who I think is fugly) but I suppose that works for the lead male anyway as he wasn’t a cassanova in the Korean movie either. I haven’t actually watched the Korean drama to compare so all I can compare it to is the movie. I guess basically if you take the movie and then add some filler scenes in you will get this drama. Despite my low expectations, I quite enjoyed episode 1. Continue Reading »
