Alright doing another short summary this week. It’s really no fun to do a summary of events that drag on such as people going to the baths, eating at cafes, hiking etc. This episode is also a segue into next week where basically Mina gets the short end of the stick and perhaps this is her last chance? Also this week Sayuri gets jealous of Tsukasa clinging to Riku the whole time. In the end Tsukasa gets sick and Riku feels guilty for not paying more attention to her. Not sure where this is gonna go but I still feel that Sayuri will be the one that he ends up with.

Upcoming Attractions: The end of Mina’s love?

*sigh*. I don’t really wanna drop my only Monday show but I don’t think I’m the only person that feels this show coulda gotten to the point in 13 episodes instead of 26. So the stupid school festival finally happened and what of it? Half the episode spent on Aoba being pulled by random people (for the 423243th time) to help with random shit. Sayuri gets upset that Riku didn’t see her performance and then spends the other half of the episode looking for him. In order to please the Mina/Tsukasa fans, they make an appearance by having a battle to win Riku’s attention as they drag him through various activities of the school festival. We even get more screaming Ayu except this time it doesn’t involve her boobs. In the end Riku finds Sayuri, they both apologize and then he convinces her to perform some parts of her play in front of him while everyone else is dancing by the bonfire.

Sayuri Snaps Part II! So yea this episode was pretty awesome in a sense of finally moving the “love” plotline along the way. Anyway I was wrong apparently the Bunkasai is next week, and this week they spent another episode getting ready. Well rather, “their class” was getting ready since they finally decided to do a haunted house. Umm this week’s episode had nothing to do with the story so here’s a brief summary. Haruka sensei is down lately because she doesn’t feel she can properly control her class (which keeps arguing about them doin a Maid Cafe for the school festival.) She then joins an online game a teacher in the school has created, which uses avatars (kinda like Cafesta in japan.) There she meets a boy who she has a bit too much fun with and that also increases her good mood at school. However one day she admits to this boy online that she’s a teacher and her class isn’t fun and that there’s a serious person in her class who she thinks is better and nicknames her “A.S.-san” (Amamiya Sayuri) He then logs off and that puts her in a lousy mood until she gets to class and everyone surprises her and yells Happy Birthday! and gives her a boquet of flowers. In the end the twist is that the boy is not Sayuri, like the teacher thought but rather the sensei who created the game in the first place. Oh how cheesy and romantic!

Upcoming Attractions: I think they’re FINALLY having the freaking school festival and the infamous play.

So this week we have a new character but thankfully she’s only a 1 episode kind of gal. Her name is Yukari, she has blonde hair and is voiced by the lady who voiced Sakura in Da Capo and TenTen in Naruto. It turns out she’s Riku’s childhood friend and is also now a Gravure model. Her first impression is to glomp Riku and once again piss off every male in the class. And maybe a certain brunette female. Continue Reading »

And by that I mean, due to all the Japanese people getting drunk and going to the temple, many shows have been postponed until next week or the following week. So to clear up the confusion here’s the dilly-o with the shows I’m blogging.

Tokimeki Memorial: Episode 14 will air on next Monday, January 8.

Busou Renkin: Because we had double episodes last week, episode 15 will air next Wednesday January 10

Naruto: That’s still on [my blogging] hiatus until February 15

Kanon: Episode 14 will air this Thursday, January 4, as usual.

Sumomomomomomo: Episode 13 will skip another week and air on January 11.

I’m not including any new series because as usual I will check out episode 1 and if I like it, blogging will commence with episode 2. In any case this will be a break week…and I’ll be rabidly looking for a new job. ;_;

Hope every had a spiffy Christmas! I sure did! (Although it seems most the posts are “MY CHRISTMAS IS A LONELY ONE (T_T)!!”) SAYURI SNAPS! Wow I was totally waiting for this episode to happen. This is where it gets really good! So anyway Sayuri is busy trying to get everything together for the school festival and she’s obviously taken on more than she can handle. To make things worse, her own class can’t even decide on what they will do because all the guys want to do a maid cafe (mainly because they want to see Sayuri in a maid oufit — making all the other girls violently jealous.)
