Need I say more?

Well that was an unexpected ending…as in I didn’t expect them to have a long distance relationship. Oh well they’d probably break up in like 3 months anyway. Mina and Tsukasa both got rejected but on the upside Tsukasa got to be the Volleyball team captain. Mina..well she got the short end of the stick. It seems Sakurai really DID like Sayuri but gave up his feelings because she had the hots for Riku. Also Sayuri spills the beans on ALL her faults that all you guys have been complaining in the series, so hey at least she’s no longer in denial. Oh and for the fans they had Yakuza-chick kick everyone’s ass, another one of Riku’s marathons and lots of guns and crap provided by Onee-san.
Final Thoughts: What the hell did I just sit through the last 25 weeks?

Actually Confession o Rama is a funny book that I read a year ago but I digress. This week’s episode can simply be described by this image:
Both Mina & Tsukasa confessed their undying love for Riku when they found out he’s moving. Sayuri is still holding on to her stupid present and when she thought of throwing it out, the Nurse stopped her and convinced her that it’s “important”. Both girls asked Riku to meet them at their respective spots to tell them the answer but I get the feeling he won’t go to either and instead will somehow end up with Sayuri and it will be some sad goodbye ala Bokura ga Ita or something.
Upcoming Attractions: Finally! The last episode.

So while halfway through
the episode I called what was gonna happen the moment Rikus mom said “We need to talk about something important honey” and you know in anime parents never show up unless it’s something to do with the family moving, divorcing or adopting a loli. So anyway it’s Valentine’s Day in the Tokimeki world and everyone’s wondering who Sayuri will give chocolates too. Unfortunately they discover that she has never given chocolates to anybody in her life. Continue Reading »

So in this
episode Riku’s harem finally clashes in the ultimate battle to win his heart….too bad Sayuri is already in the lead for the winner’s circle. As we discovered last week, Riku’s parents are away for New Years leaving him all alone. Unfortunately for Riku, his haremettes all know about this and they all have the exact same thought: Let’s visit Riku because he’s all alone in his house and perhaps I can cheer him up! The atmosphere gets heavy when all of them realize that it’s a fierce battle of the estrogen armies. Continue Reading »

I guess Ayame got tired of this show going in
circles just as much as me and she took some action to get the Riku x Sayuri crap moving along. (Or in my strange analogies, she gave the constipated story some prunes.) It’s really been a while since I did a full episode summary for this show but this episode was more than “insert filler material here” so here goes. The student council pres wants to spice up the end of the year so he creates a “Christmas” event for the student body. It involves everyone coming in a costume and COUPLES ONLY may enter into the contest. Ayame decides this is her chance to get the plot moving so she randomly forces Riku to go with her, to obviously make Sayuri jealous. Continue Reading »

So just when
I thought this episode may provide some kind of resolution or any kind of plot movement, it made a full circle back into where it started from: absolutely nothing. I think those of us still bothering with this show are only doing it because “hey I’ve sat through 20 episodes of this crap and I wanna know who the hell he’s gonna end up with.” (Even though all signs point to Sayuri.) So like at the beginning he totally rejected Mina & Tsukasa and I was like “Whoa maybe we get something going here!” Then he was all depressed and so Sayuri took the lead step and asked him to walk home together. After their chat on the way home, he also had a man to man talk with Inukai. (And by man to man I mean Inukai almost punched him in the face.) It filled Riku fulla happiness and he apologized to Mina & Tsukasa and everyone lived happily never after. The only “small” progress was when Riku’s friends misunderstood thinking that he likes Sayuri and how he should confess to her (they suggested he write a letter.) Other than that it was like the week before but instead of emo Mina it was emo Riku.

To be honest I thought this
episode was fulla crap. I mean I know Mina likes Riku and all but just because he hasn’t freaking responded to her emails every freaking second doesn’t mean she needs to go all crying and running to an aquarium creating scenes worse than Sasuke’s lamenting in Naruto. What is he, her boyfriend? Where does she get the idea that every guy is gonna cater to her needs when he isn’t even going out with her. えらそうムカツクんだこら! In other news wtf happened to Tsukasa? “Don’t say anything Riku.” “but I’ve ignored your feeling–*silenced with finger*”. Uhh okay? Then we never see her for the rest of the episode. And the small bit with Sayuri is the obvious giveaway that “Wow Riku actually gets jealous when he sees her talking with that other guy…and she seems to be all blushing around Riku now days HMM.” Yea I think it’s pretty obvious at this point. I’m just curious to see in what creative way they’re gonna kick the bucket for Mina & Tsukasa.
Upcoming Attractions: Sayuri confesses that she’s in love with Riku…that is during the preview. What the episode is actually about is beyond me.
