Is basically what you get if you play the doujin game “Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekitou”. Curiosity got the best of me so I downloaded it off Tokyo Toshokan. It’s so much fun! XDDD Normally I don’t care much for these types of games, the last one I played was that Kanon one with the 3D Ayu going “BOKU NO KOTO WASURETE KUDASAI” after she KO’ed you. The Haruhi one provides fun and anime bits galore. For example in random battles characters will wear random outfits. In the picture here Kyon’s sporting Hakuro’s Utawarerumono mask and in one of my other battles Yuki had a Pikachu hat. In otherwords, they get my creative juices (or bowels?) moving! So the last few weeks I’ve been mulling over whether or not to do a doujinshi for next year. I first said “I’ll do Ouran!” then I got all uninspired and didn’t really wanna do it anymore then the thought of a malfunctioning manga studio (hooray for missing strokes!) and the fact that I still have leftover doujins made me say “screw it” to the whole thing.

Well lo and behold I got bored and decided to check out some Haruhi Fanfiction! You know most fanfics are written horribly, make no sense, use awful grammar or are bursting with mary sues in every corner…however there were a few good Haruhi x Kyon ones that made me all moeeee 8D;. This may be old news to those who purchase the R2 Haruhi DVDs but apparently it includes a Hare Hare Yuukai special version which basically takes all the stupid scenes of school buildings and replaces them with actual SOS-Dan doing the dance. I’m getting in the mood to learn the whole thing now…:lol:

Personally for some reason I thought the kiss in the novel was more exciting than when watching the episode. Perhaps because the novel spoiled me and I already knew what was going to happen about a month ago :P. Overall I liked it. I don’t think there will be a sequel. Based on all the novels, it looks like they took chunks from the other novels as well for this series so making a sequel would be senseless in my opinion. Now all that’s left to do is perhaps rewatch this series in its correct order.
