Sumomomo Momomo - 19
Haha today’s filler
character was so pointless she was burned to a crisp by the end of the episode. 
So I don’t know what the point of most of this episode was, but at the end they got back on track with the manga story again. The filler character was sent by TenTen (Tenka’s “sister”) to kill Koushi but she failed becuase Momoko stopped her every time. Apparently she had no budouka powers but she was actually a raging lesbian in love with TenTen who gave her “costumes” therefore endowing her with a “cosplay” skill. With this skill, whatever costume she wore, she’d be perfect at that costume’s job. (I.e. driving a car, being a repairman, playing tennis etc.) Anyway after she was fried, TenTen threw a poison bead into Koushi’s mouth and he swallowed it. Basically the poison will spread and in a week he will die. If he doesn’t want to die then he (and Momoko) can come to the tiger den and fight them all.
Upcoming Attractions: So yea next week begins the big tournament and Sanae gets a new costume that looks less S&M (but has a twist :lol:).
It was all going so well the first 5 minutes then some how it fell into a hole of filler and god awful fanservice. Do they really need to stretch time to do the Tenka family arc? X_X Basically since Koushi & Momoko moved into the same apartment as Iroha & Tenka, the owner, Sanae’s grandma, decides to have a Nabe eating contest. The contest involves all the neighbors dropping whatever they want into it. Filler Neighbor No. 1 drops in poisonous Gyouza to make you pass out and Filler Neighbor No. 2 drops a grenade. Yea and you know what? Next week is a filler too. Wow this show just went to hell REALLY fast. I take back everything I said last week.

Last week I think this was like the only post that didn’t get comments so I wonder if everyone gave up so soon ;_; The show is starting to get REALLY good now so if you thought it was only about lolis and ecchi…please give it another chance and watch it again. Unlike some shows (coughnaruto) there was only 3 actual filler episodes while the rest stays true to the manga. Anyway, Momoko lets Tenka into their house and feeds him so he doesn’t look like a starving Ethiopian child anymore. 
manga and it looks like starting next week is the start of the final arc. Momoko is sad that she’s such a devoted “wife” but gets no love from her “husband”. She sees on a TV program a guy giving “7 tips” to bring the “love” back into a marriage. Momoko of course falls for this and decides to try them for herself. 
however next week we finally get back into the manga! Next week will be a special episode about Koushi and Momoko so I’m all pumped for it :D! This week basically this blue haired chick shows up and she’s from some murder clan that wants to kill Koushi but she just wants to escape and be a singer. She runs into that dude who those guys think is tough but he keeps like playing with his cat. Anyway apparently she falls for him and he falls for her (a match made in heaven :roll:) but then one of the people from her clan tells her if she doesn’t kill Koushi, the dude might get hurt. So yea she tries to kill Koushi and her plan gets foiled because of 
Anyway I downloaded a little clip off the Sumomomo DVD’s where at the beginning Momoko goes “When watching Sumomomomomomo, please sit far from the screen and in a brightly lit room. However, when I’m making babies with Koushi dono, please turn the lights off and….ahh! Koushi dono! I didn’t mean that! I’m sorry please forgive me! Koushi donoooo!!!” 
describe this week was a girl who has a crush on Koushi (who doesn’t?) pretends to be a ghost with her many inventions and appears to be voiced by Yuuko Goto. After that stupidity ensues and that about covers this episode. I also like how Momoko is completely OC when she “sprains her ankle” and runs to Koushi going “kyaa!” when she sees some people dressed in stupid haunted house costumes. If anything I woulda loved her to do some kind of dragon busting budouka move. But whatever. Next week is another filler but it looks funny and seems like some weird crush that Koushi’s dad has or something.
many reasons and the main one being that they changed the opening and no longer do I start my Thursdays with “Kozukuri Shimasho!” 
The other reason it sucked is it was a filler. I actually read the manga as far as the magazine chapters go (February 2007) and it’s really awesome. Unfortunately based on what happens I think they will end the anime right on the major arc that happens in volumes 4-6 so I guess to fit the episodes in properly they’re sticking some fillers in this week and it looks like next week as well. If you watch the opening and ending carefully you can see small details that give hints to what happens such as the kitty Momoko is holding, the shoes she has, and the shadows of the “bad guys” as well as the fact that Tenka is all over the place.
