So here’s this week’s Ouran anime/manga difference list:
♪There was no Renge or kids live action show (I swear Renge hasn’t appeared for like the last 5 volumes)
♪As seen in the above screenshot, Kyouya tied them all up, he didn’t smile happily
♪Tamaki didn’t buy a dog who humped him throughout the episode
♪The scene of Tamaki sitting at a table with the mikans is actually from a side story that showed how Tamaki & Kyouya started the Host Club
Upcoming Attractions: Honey-senpai & his brother duke it out…aka the chapter I didn’t really read.

Ouran Koukou Bitchfest 16. It’s late, I watched too much crap tonight so this is gonna be short and sweet…aka my bitchfest on how the anime managed to cut out all the CUTE FUCKING SCENES for god knows what reason. -_-;

I’m not into yaoi or anything but seriously I think the scene between Hikaru & Kaoru didn’t need to be cut down to just showing us their “hands”. Considering all the other BL crap they did before this is no excuse. I also don’t like Tamaki’s gay purple outfit, he looked so much hotter in the manga and the anime made him look like a blonde Barney.
Once again the anime cuts out ANY AND ALL SCENES BETWEEN HARUHI AND TAMAKI. Why for the love of ham! How could you cut out such an adorable scene of Tamaki carrying Haruhi back home! Who cares about her friend and the watermelon gawdddd!
!!! Also the scene with Tamaki yelling @ Hikaru over the phone felt better conveyed to me in the manga because they left the line “Haruhi is afraid of thunder!” for the end. In the anime it was kinda blubbered through in between sentences. Bleh.
Upcoming Attractions: Looks like a partial filler cause Renge’s in it.

This episode generally stayed true to the manga but I have a few little things to mention in the update.
For those who haven’t seen it yet the basic summary is Haruhi goes to take a part time job at her father’s friends Inn. Her father’s friend is also a gay crossdresser. (this is going to attract spam bots I can see it now :roll:) She thinks she is going to have a nice break from the host club boys, until Tamaki feels its his fatherly duty to come and harass her. While most people were probably watching fireworks, I was watching this…but mostly because it turns out my apartment balcony faces the opposite side of Philadelphia…where the fireworks were happening
Anyway on with the show. Based on last week’s MKV mishap, I got the idea of doing Ouran Anime x Manga comparisons for the rest of the series. Since a few people already blog it just for the anime, this will be something “different” for you to look at aside from just typical episode summaries I suppose.
Generally the episode followed the manga pretty closely. This was the last chapter of volume 4, and afterwards is a special side comic that the mangaka draws every once in a while completely unrelated to Ouran Koukou. Continue Reading »

Gah it’s the most demonic format ever created by stupid Russians known to man! (Yes I can make fun of Russians because I’m Russian and I think my uncle’s ‘genious’ ideas are idiotic too.) I mean what kind of name is “Matroska” anyway, it sounds like some stupid sailor nickname.
That aside, I couldn’t take any screencaps for Ouran High School Host Club episode 13 due to this spawn of satan format so instead I bring you:
A snippet from the manga chapter! This was actually in volume 4. I noticed the anime decided to incorporate characters like Haruhi’s mom, dad, Renge, Nekozawa and his sister. None of that was in the manga. The basic differences are the “evil queen” was Kyouya, and his little servant was Hani. Haruhi’s hair (in case you can’t tell) was short like it is normally not long like it used to be. The baby thing, was actually Mori who then grew UP rather than grow down. The bunny person was that little kid (he was a mouse in the anime.) In the end Kyouya attacks them with some kind of a dragon, and Haruhi uses her magical powers and summons a giant Cat puppet (Basically the thing that Nekozawa carries on his hand) to defeat it. Then Haruhi wakes up from under a tree, and her “mother” (which is actually Kyouya not her real mother) goes “Oh what a bad dream you had! Let’s go home!” Oh and all of this took place in like a “forest wonderland” not Ouran Koukou.
