So since there is no Naruto anime episode this week I figured I’d do a combo post with manga releases. Today I checked out the latest chapter of Naruto of course along with a coincidental upload of the latest chapter of Ouran High School Host club. Remember when I said I was disappointed with the manga? I take it all back. It’s as if Hatori-sensei read my blog and is finally moving the slow meat grinder that is Tamaki and Haruhi’s relationship. With that in mind, I’m incredibly pumped and I will continue buying the tankobons even though I’ve read some Lala scanlations online. I support TamaHaru! Please keep it up sensei! XD

Also there are unfortunate news for me - but SAI apparently is going commercial in the next couple days. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to buy it outside Japan (even though it’s just a serial number) and $50 for a not really complete program (it’s missing a lot of tools which supposedly will be added in the commercial version but who knows.) Oh well

So it’s been ages since Ouran anime ended and I’ve been somewhat keeping up with the manga. I recently purchased volume 10 and 11 and to be honest, I’m only reading it for the sole purpose of Haruhi x Tamaki. Unfortunately, the mangaka does not seem to feel the same way as she has been throwing in random characters and stories and so much fucking text, that I’ve gotten to the point where I’d glance and flip to the next page because I just don’t wanna read it.

The only highlights were that in volume 10 the daughter of that drag queen granny at that Inn who is a total ganguro gets a crush on Tamaki and begs for Haruhi to help her. Continue Reading »

Well it’s finally over!! Even though it was a lovely fake ending and technically she didn’t “end up” with anybody (although Tamaki was what it hinted at.) Here’s some bonus scans I scanned/translated from Volume 9 for those of us lacking in Tamaki/Haruhi love.

Overall I enjoyed the series. It really made a lot of the boring manga chapters seem fun (and I really hate when Hatori Bisco puts in that stupid special at the end of each volume called Love Egoist cause I think it’s stupid as hell.) I might continue doing manga reviews for Ouran volumes cause I’ll probably be keeping up with it.

Well I guess I can’t blame the anime staff too much since there’s only 2 eps left in the show and they have to create SOME kind of conclusion. I like how they make it seem like Haruhi’s jealous, so it looks like this will make all us Haruhi x Tamaki fans happy ^_^. I recently purchased volume 9 of the Ouran manga, so maybe I’ll read it this evening before I go to bed. And now I leave you with a hawt Tamaki x Haruhi fanfic I read recently.

Why doesn’t anyone ever post raws of this anymore?? This is like the only show that I think only l33t raws posts torrents of but they post it like a week after it aired (and who cares by then XP). Oh well that aside I really like how they handled this episode. Just like most of the anime, they’ve really turned boring manga chapters into something I can sit through. The problem with the Ouran manga is it has so much freaking text in one page that halfway through I get tired of reading it and I just flip through to the next page hoping for something interesting to happen. I decided to take this off my hiatus list since the show ends in about 3 weeks. It looks like they’re finally starting to show the Tamaki x Haruhi hints, but it seems like they’re totally ruinin the flow by randomly sticking in the episode about how Kyouya and Tamaki formed the club (Which in my opinion doesn’t deserve an ENTIRE episode dedicated to it blah.)

Hm well the only thing that was different was the order in which they put stuff from the last episode into this one seemed a bit off to me. Also Renge as usual was added into the anime and the end part where they were playing hide & seek was also a new addition to the story. I’m not sure why they continue to have Kaoru/Hikaru fighting over Haruhi when the manga made it pretty clear that they realize Tamaki’s head over heels for her.

I just wanna know when we’re gonna see the episode that Haruhi & Tamaki got to a fancy party and he eats from her spoon in front of everyone just to piss them off and it’s all cute and romantic *^*!! Yea…hopefully soon. -_-;
