I really hope that isn’t a look of jealousy.

I’m kinda glad I switched from my standard format of summarizing shows to this short commentary format (with occasional exceptions) because summarizing this show is like trying to run a marathon in quicksand. I still kinda enjoy it, especially when Kazuki gets shot down by Futami 20 times lol. Also Mr. Saxy has emotions! He got mad at Mao for not coming to him for advice on hating studying *le gasp*. What bothered me was at the end of the episode when Koiichi ran towards Yumi and Mao had this “ew how dare he choose her over me” look. Wait wtf? You got Sax boy. Blah I hope this doesn’t end up at Koichi x Mao, it’s a big yuck to me at this point. Also, ENOUGH WITH THE FROGS.

Welcome to 3 years ago.

This episode started nice with the Mao x Kai stuff….but the moment they started showing the stupid frog doll crap I began rolling around the couch trying to keep myself from falling asleep. Kazuki like…ruined it with his I WANNA REVIVE THE EXPERIMENT crap OTL and the truth finally comes out about Yumi: She likes suicidal love stories. How pleasant. (￣∀￣*) Also all the childhood scenes repeated 10 times bored me to tears. I dunno if I’ll be able to last through 26 episodes.

It only occurred to me now that some of the Clannad cast is voicing in this show O_o. At this point, everyone to me incredibly UZAI except for Mao and Saxboy, er Kai-kun. For some reason the whole Kazuki x Futami thing is blah, I’m so sick of her “cool” attitude. Koichi and Yumi are just blah to me too for some reason even though I’m glad he grew some cajones and asked her to help him write whatever the hell he’s writing.

But all in all I’m just lovin the Kai x Mao thing. Also LOL Mao gets love letters LOL. And as much as I was gonna make more dumb photoshops, I really don’t need to since Kai actually asked her on a date. W00t can’t wait for next week.

So this week everyone has a welcoming party for Mao and they decide to go Karaokeing. Unfortunately they gotta gather 7 people in order to get some kind of discount. Mao trusts the boys to grab some women, and since Kazuki can’t get his hands on the “cool beauty” it’s up to Koichi to get Yumi. He fails as well though so in the end Mao has to be his wingman to get her to go.

So I think I’m gonna blog this show as well. What I really enjoy about this anime is that everything in a typical harem show that you see…is not there. You don’t have fanservice and big boobed girls fawning over the main characters who’s got a baby carrot sized cock. In fact even the childhood friends aren’t fawning over each other. They all got their own person they wanna go after and it seems at this point it’s pretty established on who’s going after who.
