I was suddenly reminded of the nausea from the Fung Wa bus to Boston when watching this scene.
Yea yea we all knew it was coming. I was secretly hoping that at least Mao and/or Koiichi would end up alone - hell at one point of the episode I thought they were all gonna go yaoi and yuri it up but yea Futami got Kazuki and Maou (pun intended) got Koiichi. Yumi & Asuka get shafted, Kai becomes a jazz pimp. What a drag. I think I woulda been happier if this was a 1 shot OAV where the character has a childhood friend, tries to date another girl, but realizes that the childhood friend is still the one he loves. We didn’t need 24 episodes of the same old shit over & over again. J.C. Staff once again you fail with flying colors. I can’t even begin to imagine the horrors that await me in Zero no Tsukaima 3.

So
while the episode started as a drag and boring school festival crap it got pretty exciting in the 2nd half. Seeing Mao trying to run away from Koiichi and Yumi was absolute win. That’s right you homewrecker, you keep yourself away! Also speaking of emo, Futami took a back seat this week as well and sat all alone in various places. All I can say is…HAHA! Continue Reading »

Is
KimiKiss nauseating anyone else with their spin cycles? LOL. Just when you thought Futami was all deredere with Kazuki, she sees an incredibly depressed Asuka and suddenly becomes all ronery herself. Kazuki the genious of course comes up to Asuka asking her “What’s wrong with you lately you seem down!” Hello moron, why don’t you look in the mirror you Makoto wannabe. Continue Reading »

Noo!! I mean…yes? Hell I don’t know anymore.
Haha whoaa what happened here. Aside from the Kai scene where I was cursing at Mao (literally) and going “poor Kai, kick that whore to the curb” this week definitely focused on Kazuki the stalker. I guess stalking pays off after all, except when you stand in front of someone’s house with a boombox playing “In Your Eyes”. Continue Reading »

You
know at this point I’m just going…why? I mean I can see the writers now wanna pair up Koiichi with Mao. Ok fine. I hate you but fine. So now that poor Kai got rejected, why is he getting setup for ANOTHER rejection? Why can’t they just show Mao as a miserable fallen woman for once? Or in the least -if Kai is always there for her, why the FUCK won’t her feelings change? Does she have a thing for other people’s men? (What is this, Zettai Kareshi?) Continue Reading »

Ugh I’m so sick of Mao. I am so full of rage at that whore that the best I can do to describe my feelings for this episode is this gaijin 4koma:
The only thing that was pleasing was Kazuki finally ditching Futanari-san and perhaps opening up a path for Asuka. You go girl! Poor Yumi.
Upcoming Attractions: Nice Boat Koiichi considers being a manwhore too.

God I haven’t been this enraged about anime shipping since the day I found out Sora picked Yamato over Taichi in the 2nd season of Digimon Adventure. And fortunately many people in Japan will agree with me - that Mao is complete bitch. I mean we all knew she had a thing for Koiichi for a while, but using Kai like this even further? I made a lol but it was sad truth when during the sunset scene she goes “Kai do you love me?” And he’s like “Yes” and JP pipes in with “I love myself too.”
HOW TRUE. Ugh and even making them get matching phone straps. What the hell do you think you’re pulling here you dirty harlot!? I really hope she ends up alone and miserable. Koiichi’s gotta stop pulling the “I wonder what’s wrong with Mao-neechan” bullshit. Ugh. Blasphemy! Also I hope Kazuki gives up on ice queen and gets with soccer gal.
P.S. This was a frog-free episode.
