Well I checked the Kinokuniya online site and it said that the book was finally in the store so I picked it up. I got the special edition as well which came with a little booklet that contained an “omake” story just like my other special edition did. What I didn’t get is why there was only 1 special edition book left on the shelves. They need to restock more often! I almost picked up the normal edition bah. But anyway…all this excitement was to be short lived as this turned out to actually be a pretty disappointing volume. In comparison to the amazing work that was Pita Ten, Kamichama Karin is not living up to it and in volume 6 it hit the ultimate pit of generic shoujo story - and not in a good way. Satellite fails on many levels, and after JP told me what animes they did (Glass no Kantai, Koisuru Tenshi Angelique) my suspicions have been confirmed. I think I will avoid any and all shows made by them (even though I did a good job of doing so up to this). I don’t know wtf happened during the Kirio fight as I had trouble paying attention since it seemed like he kept beating Karin in the head and kicking Kazune in the face multiple times. I can’t take this show seriously anymore. The fact that I now know that Jin is Kirihiko’s reincarnation, seeing him take over Kirio’s body just seems like a load of bull to me. I mean parts of this are accurate like the 2 Himeka’s and him telling Karin that Kazune is a clone etc…but the rest is just…wtf. The worst has gotta be Himeka’s role in this whole thing. I thought she KNEW about Kazusa but here she acts like WHOA WTF A BIRD TURNS INTO A GIRL! But that fact aside, she’s only surprised for like 5 seconds until her attention is taken off somewhere else. I really hate how they’ve turned Himeka into a brainless idiot in the anime. I mean she wasn’t the brightest of things in the manga, but the anime just emphasizes all her BAD points rather than her good ones. The latest anime episodes have really gone down under for her. I think next week is the last episode, at least I hope it is. I can’t stand this manga butcher shop anymore.

SURPRISE! Ok I was pretty surprised too I had no idea this was out already until my eyes landed on the special edition version! In case you’re wondering my current banner is actually what the cover of the SE looks like. Sexy nurse Karin and sexy patient Kazune. Also the picture of Kazune in the inside illustration shown here is very sexxxyy. I can’t say the same for the volume itself though. All of this sexiness was more appropriate for volume 4 in my opinion. So most of the manga was story action which began with Mion creating yet another stupid play, this time though it seemed like a twisted version of the 3 musketeers. Since the 1st season play was a success she decided to cast Micchi, Karin & Kazune again - which caused some tension because Kazune didn’t really wanna talk to Micchi anymore. Continue Reading »

Well this week’s Kamichama Karin episode was another horrendous filler which can be described as “Micchi shoots a fireball, saves everyone then dies while Himeka ponders who proposed to Karin simultaneously eating cake with the magical cat.” Anyway stupidity aside I went to Kinokuniya this week and purchased volume 4 of the chu series…where there’s some hawt Kazune x Karin action as well as some hawt moving filler free plot. So anyway Karin is in panic because of the bad dream she has where everyone dies except for Jin who only loses his memories. Because of this she’s been stressed out and not doing too hot in school. Kazune comforts her and tells her that they will change the bad future together. Meanwhile, Himeka returns from her travels, although they find her sleeping in the bushes at the park like a bum o_O;. Umm wtf just happened =_=;;. Don’t ask me because I thought they were supposed to be in the Karasuma house for a bit until Kazune & the rest came to save her. Instead she spent half the episode playing games with the 2nd Himeka, and they even decided to cut the animation budget by showing a “picture book” by Kirio which was shitty crayon drawings that looked like a 6 year old did them. Afterwards Kirio got posessed AGAIN and ended up killing Kirika in the process. Wut? Then Kazusa shows up and said “there is no time for explanations”. Actually there is, and I do believe she explained she is Kazune’s sister or something. I sat there the whole time going “what the fuck is going on?” To be honest I don’t think they plan to incorporate Kamichama Karin Chu unless this series is going to go beyond 26 episodes.

Wow that was the worst adaptation ever! Half of it was filler, and only ’somewhat’ followed the manga. The filler wasn’t even funny or good! They still completely cut out Ami-chan. Ughhhsadksjdhakd. Ok I will now go down the list to what was really supposed to happen. First of all Ami-chan found out about Karin kissing Kazune, so that’s how Himeka ended up finding out in the end. Himeka did not see them kissing nor did she waste time with Kirio the “fortune teller” or whatever b/s that was. Second of all, Karin didn’t push Kazune away for kissing her - she stopped because she felt blood in her mouth from him and got worried. Aka she LIKED it lawl. Third of all WHERES THE NEKKID FANSERVICE?? Also, the animation in this episode went down the toilet again. Continue Reading »
