Why is this the ONLY show on nico that doesn’t get instantly deleted? Is it because it’s so awful nobody cares enough to remove it? I think next week is the final episode right? Anyway for once I’d like to say I actually enjoyed and was moved by this episode. I think the scene which gave a lump in my throat was when Yume and Yoshiyuki were eating the nabe and she said she doesn’t regret being with him. (And watching it again for the screencap almost made me cry. ちくしょ！) During the course of the episode eventually everyone forgets Yoshiyuki, even his close friends, who actually remembered him up until the end. It seems in the end the only one really remembering him is Yume. Otome’s been keeping her distance, which gives me a feeling they may be going for the Yume ending? Who knows but I’m definitely giving Yume some props. Despite being a mega bitch at first, she really comes through when the going gets tough. You go girl.

Did anyone else feel that Otome’s crying was like nails on chalkboard? I mean it was SOO awful. And it kept going…and GOING…and she kept babbling and oh my god it was awful. It sounded as if the seiyuu was like “omg can I freaking go home now?” Also I have no pity for Yoshiyuki since when Yume accidentally told him that she liked him, what did he do? Fall asleep. Well at least he had a useful dream where Sakura told him that because she was jealous that she was the only old maid she wished upon a tree to have a family. (Why did she only wish for a kid? She coulda wished for a hot husband or something.) At the end Yoshiyuki finds Otome (and the horrible crying scene ensues) and then tells her to deflower the tree, and so she does. Also Yume watched all this from far away.

Upcoming Attractions: Well I think there’s still 2 episodes left so I’m sure he’ll come back in some shape or form for all I know.

So the whole episode Otome just kept avoiding Yoshiyuki because at the beginning he almost got hit by a car. Did her voice change btw? It sounded really different. I don’t really see how HER avoiding him is going to stop him from getting into some accident but apparently she thinks it’s a brilliant idea. So basically Sakura sacrificed herself for nothing, and by the end of the episode Jyuunichi is willing to do the same. Sadly, his sacrifice is also for nothing because this tree is like Rasputin - it just won’t DIE. Well at least Yume seems like she’s pretty blissful in her ignorance of occurring events. Poor grandpa Jyuunichi.

Hmm this is happening earlier than I expected but I’ll roll with it. Yoshiyuki wakes up with Yume glomping him in a really good mood. He’s shocked at why she’s like all over him the entire day and later appologizes to her. For some reason she’s decided to be a doormat and “accept her destiny” or some bullshit. That or I wonder if maybe she saw another “dream” where Yoshiyuki disappears which is why she was so close to him the entire day. Continue Reading »

I decided to check if the June issue arrived at Kinokuniya today and not only that but Animedia had Soul and Maka on the cover as well!! A separate post coming for that one later.
