The homewrecker Yamamoto strikes again! 
Or so it seems that’s where the plot is currently heading next week but for now we have a “calm before the storm” episode. Yano and Take are pretty edgy around each other lately. They run into each other on the bus when Yano is headed towards Nanami’s house and Take is headed towards a Goukon. On the bus Take tells Yano to stop “being nice to him because he feels bad” but Yano says he doesn’t feel bad at all because Take’s the one who started the battle but dropped out in the middle of it. to get into the light where you belong, but where do you belong? Yea this show is totally going into my Ace of Base AMV lol. Nanami and Yano end up going on a movie date because Nanami didn’t have any money so he ended up paying. They even got into an argument about what kind of popcorn they should get. During the movie she noticed Yano made space on the arm rest for her but he didn’t hold her hand and respected her privacy. 
posts on this blog will probably be later than usual and may or may not roll on to the next day. Anyway Take is now down AND out I’m afraid. Anyway Nanami agrees to “go out” with Yano so he could tell her about Nana. However to make sure of this, and to make sure it doesn’t turn into a “date”, Take comes along. Yano is really pissed but he hides it. When they are at the restaurant, all Yano says is “We went out, and broke up when she died.” 
I almost feel as if they’re creating all these random loop holes just to stretch a 3 episode plot into a 10 episode one. So not only is Yano a crappy boyfriend, he’s a crappy best friend too! And in order to stop Take from confessing to Nana, he gets 2 of his goons to tie him up and lock him in a class room. Lucky for Take, he manages to get out (or fall out?) of the window to escape. In the meantime, Nanami is trying her best to escape the both of them because she can’t decide (as usual). 
whether to choose hoes over bros or bros over hoes. During the summer festival Nanami keeps thinking up of ways to reject Yano if he tries to invite her, but he doesn’t end up calling her anyway. At the festival, she wears her regular clothes (no Yukata) and then tries the fish catching game. She tries to catch a turtle and fails so some random guy catches it and offers to give it to her. Before Nanami can accept it, Takeuchi grabs her hand and says “This is my girlfriend, so don’t do these things to her.” He then grabs her hand and takes her away. 
the word “Owned!” at least 3 times in this episode. So anyway Takeuchi said “timing is everything” but completely blew his timing because it was him, Nanami and…Mizu(ki?) However she was cool enough to pretend to like playing with the dog more than anyone and did it so that Nanami and Takeuchi would have more time “alone” together to talk. The two of them however just stood there with an occasional glance or blush at each other. Poor girl, your efforts wasted. 
So anyway Yano and Nanami are broken up and lots of rumors are circulating around school such as “she wouldn’t give him any so he got tired of it” etc. Nanami refuses to tell even her friends the actual reason. The only one who probably has any idea is Takeuchi. One day after school Takeuchi decides to cheer her up by inviting her over his house to see a pair of puppies he found. He says he’s going to keep them both because he feels bad leaving them. He tells Nanami she can come over any time (”with no deep meaning”) to play with them.
