That ending was terrible! 
This makes this whole anime series even worse! Although I hear the manga story is more promising, leaving the show on this kind of note is ridiculous. Okay so Yano is offering Nanami a trip to the zoo PLUS a trip to the hot springs. He even promises he won’t do anything she doesn’t want to,…hell he’ll just sleep next to her all night and not do a thing! But what does she do? She tells him to cancel the onsen trip and says she just wants to spend her time doing “normal” things with him. She wants his “leaving” to “not be special”. Great. Yano and Nanami are studying hard to take their college exams. They’re especially having a difficult time with English (as usual.) Nanami tells Yano he doesn’t have to try for the Sapporo college but he says its his own decision. Yano has still not told Nanami his decision, and he tells Take that if she were to ask him “to stay” then he would. Take says that he loses no matter what choice he makes, so he’s gotta pick. 
his mother only has about $200 to go with to Tokyo and because she has to pay for an apartment and other stuff she ends up having to go overboard and have a loan on herself. Yano doesn’t like the idea of that so he offers to do a part time job. She tells him that he has to focus on his studying and she doesn’t want him spending that time working. She says she’ll be fine on her own. Yano still goes into the magazine rack at a bookstore to look at job listings, and Take tells him to stop worrying his mom. 
One morning Take and Yano decide to go ice skating. While they are putting their skates on, Take says that he had confessed to Nanami a couple days ago, although has not received an answer yet. Yano is shocked and pissed that Take did this while he was sick and then says he’s going home…before they even ice skate. When Take goes home and tells this to his sister, she starts cracking up. We then see a flashback of the confession and Take says he will have these feelings forever, and he will not take “no” for an answer. 
battle is getting pretty heated up. The show’s finally starting to get some action but that’s obvious because there’s only 2 more episodes left to go. Yano arrives at Nanami’s house only to find her standing next to Take. The moment she sees him, she hides behind Take, and with tears in her eyes tells Yano to leave. She goes inside her house, and after futile attempts at ringing her doorbell Yano walks home in the snow due to a lack of money for the train. The next day he has a cold and collapses in the classroom from a high fever. 
was posted super late and I didn’t actually see episode 20 until this morning so I’m just gonna skip it and go right to 21 cause that’s where all the action is. So just when we thought the Nana x Take thing died, it comes back to slap us all in the face in this episode. Nanami’s parents are leaving for their wedding anniversary or something and leaving Nanami home alone. Naturally she invites Yano over, with the intention of course that in the end they’d probably have sex. Off topic but I hadn’t realized they were now 17 years old. (I kept thinking they were 15.)
