Well it wasn’t really that good of an ending. They wasted time by having Karada randomly spaz once again about the same thing (Shouko x Hiro issue) run off, have Tetsu ONCE AGAIN tell her he loves her and then everything going back to normal. Oh and of course the anime original character has a piece of the wishing stone that isn’t broken and Shouko & Karada use it to go back to normal. The end.
Umm I dunno it was just …there. Most of the show felt this way. It seems like it was off to a good start but it became kinda stale as the episodes went on. I hear the manga is much better though.

Due to me feeling nauseated
(again) this is gonna be a short summary. Actually all the stuff that happened was just stretched out with emotional scenes really. Basically Karada & Tetsu went out for a walk and she told him that she is Iokawa Karada. Tetsu didn’t believe her so she started giving details of their trip to this beach. That night they were in a grave mood and not talking to each other. Tetsu told that ponytail girl about the wishing stone that Karada told him about. The girl also asks Karada and Karada keeps insisting that it’s really true. Meanwhile back at the ranch, Hiro decides to go look for Karada. Shouko tells him where she is…she figured this out when Karada called her crying saying she didn’t know what to do..and talking about the beach stuff. When Hiro arrives at the train station, he finds Shouko there, on her way to Karada as well.
Upcoming Attractions: Final episode…doesn’t look like it will be a very conclusive ending though.

Offtopic but yay
I made it into 9-rules even though I screwed up my layout trying to get the button to show up on every page. So yea until further notice viewing this site in anything but firefox may leave for undesired results. So anyway Karada is shocked that Tetsu is here and he is shocked that “Hiro’s girlfriend” is here. He asks if “they broke up” and Karada awkwardly nods. The sensei welcomes for him to stay and spend the night because of a forecasted rain. Continue Reading »

I skipped last week because I didn’t have time to blog due to all the Thanksgiving stuff that was going on.
I really like the way this show is going however due to my new job etc. I can’t blog 5 shows on Thursday and I’ve been doing stuff Fridays (*gasp*) so although I’ve been watching it I haven’t had time to write a full summary. Does anyone still want me blogging this show? I believe a few other folks already blog it so I didn’t see it a problem if I dropped it from my Thursday lineup. Don’t get me wrong, just as with Nana, I will continue to watch it but I won’t post any entries on it. Anyway this week was pretty good. Karada basically went off and found a job working at some old couple’s house and coincidentally, Tetsu comes to that house by being dragged by that ponytail girl who isn’t in the manga. (This makes me wonder if all of this is an original story in order to create a conclusion to this show.)

I could sit here and write a longer
summary but due to time constraints and not a lot happening this will be short. Basically Hiro’s birthday is coming up and Karada wants to do something for him. She asks Shouko for advice and they both decide to bake him a cake. Shouko remembers in the past that she’s a terrible cook so she asks if she could bake along with Karada (even though she screws a few things up.) In the meantime, the town is getting rowdy saying someone played a trick and destroyed the wishing stone. One night while Shouko and Hiro go out to get cigarettes, Karada is playing with Shouko’s stuff (like her earrings.) She then finds a photo of Shouko and Hiro as a couple back in their college days. The following day Karada packs her things and is on a train away from home.

I was a bit disappointed
with the episode only because I was hoping that Tetsu would find out who Karada really is. He showed up at her apartment but he was like “Who are you lady?” Karada explained to him that “Iokawa” was staying at a relative’s house and she didn’t know when she’d be back. The two of them then walked and eventually ended up at school and into the classroom where the two of them usually study. Tetsu kept telling her about “their” past together and how he was looking for her at the summer festival. Continue Reading »

You know despite this show
not being really “comedic” or “action packed” I really enjoy it. It feels like it “flows naturally” rather than slapping me in the face with overused cliches. Anyway it turns out that Shouko moves in with Karada and Hiro. I don’t know how Japan’s apartments work but…who’s paying her apartment lease? John Smith? So anyway the reason is because Hiro and Karada still feel uncomfortable around each other, so Shouko is like a mediator. They should pay her, seriously. Continue Reading »
