What an adorable episode! Although low budget and 70% chibi, it was just adorable! Seeing chibi Shaoran and chibi Fai just kills me. Although very disappointed that S&S didn’t kiss! They were so close but got blown away by some explosion twice right before it happened (which tells me this is probably not in the manga?)

I think what’s stupid is at the end Mokona decided to “hang on to the feather” and in the next episode she/he/it loses the feather so they’re gonna spend an entire episode chasing after the feather that’s like stuck to the back of a speeding bus.

This update was supposed to be posted yesterday but due to my microwave spontaneously combusting and the internet dying it’s about 24 hours late :P. Oh well not much happened in this episode aside from the “wrap up” of the ongoing arc.

On a note of this series, I’d like to discuss “guilty pleasures”. What exactly do you define as your “guilty pleasure”? Because to me “guilty pleasure” is watching an anime series because I feel guilty that I purchased 7 volumes of the manga, I’m also 7 volumes behind reading it, and I feel like I have to watch this series because I scanlated the entire manga set of Card Captor Sakura and bought the 2nd season of it fansubbed on VHS back in the olden days. So now I’m guilty because I feel due to all of the above I must persist and watch this series no matter how freakin bored I am of feather captor Shaoran.

What I’d really like to do is catch up on the manga and do comparison posts since summary posts are boring if like 10 other people post them ya know? But currently I’m on volume 6 of Midori no Hibi so that probably won’t be for a couple of weeks.

Finally caught up on my Tsubasa eps (I was about a month and a half behind) and this is probably my favorite scene in all 6 of them: 

 
Although I admit I was a little soft with the Fai x Chii pairing. It’s better than all the yaoi fangirls pairing of Fai x Kurogane. Really I don’t know what’s worse, loli/hentai fanboys or yaoi/shota fangirls. I don’t fit into either category, I’m a happy medium of normal pairings xP.As far as Tsubasa, the anime is starting to progress (finally we find out the whole thing about that Shaoran in a tube). Does anybody else think Shaoran is like…a clone? I’m getting Spiral manga vibes here ;)
