Alright I’ll admit
that while this episode didn’t have overly annoying sky references…it had overly annoying childhood friend who I’ve seen in like 20 other series references. The fact that Yoritard’s a pansy has not changed, and the fact that Matsuri is still as dumb as a log has remained the same too. I know that being dumb as a log gives some guys a good long night’s fap but there’s only so much of this stupidity I can take. I’m not saying this is a god awful show (yes I am), but being a loong time anime watcher (what is it like 8 years now?) there’s just some things that I can look at and go “Didn’t I see this in ____ show like 2 years ago???” I guess this is bad for my blog because this just narrows down the list of shows I watched based on either “have I read the manga” or “does something interest me in this show that I haven’t seen 1000 times.” OH and this week there wasn’t an “exciting” action scene. Oh and Matsuri buying a bunch of Avocado Ramen only makes her look more like an idiot, it’s NOT MOE. (the hell with MOE, it was only funny back in the days of Rizelmine.)
Oh and in case you don’t get the point of this post…I am dropping this show.

Uughhh….this show
is really trying my patience. I keep telling myself “it’ll get better, just look at Da Capo. It’ll get better, just look at Kanon” and then every week it’s like the 3 minutes of good stuff and the rest fulla crap. That girl in the hospital pisses me off. I really wanna smack her by now. The fact that Yorito’s ceiling is covered in sky tiles made me (and JP) go “OH MY GOD COULD HE GET ANY WORSE?” He’s like a sky otaku. I mean I bet he has like sky patterned rugs in his bathroom, a cloud shower curtain. Hell I bet every one of his undies has clouds and sky all over it. There’s a way to get that girl in his pants! So in case you didn’t understand Japanese, Matsuri is a “night” person. I didn’t understand what kind of “bakemono” she was cause I couldn’t find it in the dictionary. Anyway whenever her skin touches the light it gets burned and she has powers to like turn metal into rust or something?_? AND so she says the reason she loves the sky is because she’s never actually seen it since she can only come out at night…hence why she has a skyphilia. Hey Yorito, now you guys have something in common har har! The rest of the episode passed me like a blur. I don’t know how much more of this I can take.

Well that certainly was…interesting.
I gotta admit until the last 3 minutes, I thought this show was a piece of crap. However the premise of it reminded me of how Higurashi started: Pointless school antics until the last 3 minuts when Rena wields a cleaver. People are also saying the story is by the same guy who did Da Capo and Kanon……and since I really liked the story of both, I guess I will give this a chance (and since it’s only 12 episodes, it’s not like I have to be dragged through it Tokimeki Memorial style.)
