Well I’m afraid I will be dropping this series. This show had a great start. I loved the humor, I loved the whole bishoujo falls for shouta deal. However, at this point all the running gags I can’t stand anymore. I woulda kept on had this show been 12-13 eps but I just can’t make it till 26. Shione’s hair changes are getting old. The camera girl’s “say cheese” stuff is getting old. Ayako getting angry got old after episode 3. Emelenzia was annoying the moment she entered the series…and to make things worse, her narcissistic brother is coming next week. He’s also voiced by Koyasu Takehito which if you know anything about anime prior to 2000, all his voice were narcissists and/or stupid bad guys.

So yea I’m done with this show. It seems some fansubbers have picked it up so those of you still interested in watching, enjoy it…that is if you (or the subbers) can actually manage to stand it this far.

Broccoli Nyo! I should smack myself in the head for this, but I didn’t realize until this episode that Emelenzia is voiced by the girl who voiced Dejiko in Di Gi Charat. You know what gave it away? When they were sitting in a restaurant and she picked up a cauliflower piece going “Broccoli Nyo!” which is something Dejiko often says. Does anyone watch this show anymore? (Does anyone fansub it for that matter?) So the episode starts with Emelenzia (I looked up the site for her name) and her 2 goons are together and they are crying because she appears to be “leaving”. Ayako while driving by sees this and assumes that she is leaving because she’s going back to Germany. However, when she approaches her, Emelenzia requests that Ayako show her the culture of Japan before she goes…particularly that of High School girls. Oh boy. Continue Reading »

Whoaaa I hate shisucon. I don’t mind shisucon when the sister isn’t related to the guy (i.e. Da Capo) but I hate the shisucon where the sister has a secret crush on her brother and then tries to totally threaten and annoy the hell out of her brother’s love interest/girlfriend. It makes it like 10x worse when the sister is also a loli. Anyway Mamoru invites Ayako to have dinner at his house and so the shisucon pursues. Continue Reading »

Whoa I’m back from Thanksgiving (with JPMeyer). Was supposed to blog more stuff yesterday but Mucinex knocked me out completely. (I could barely stay awake throughout this episode actually.) Was gonna write up a summary for this but I wasn’t really too happy with the episode. It was your typical hot spring episode but it was in the cold mountains. As usual the student council had set everything up in order to “make a man” out of Mamoru. As usual all it did was confuse the poor kid and piss off Ayako. It was mostly focused on the swirly haired girl and her brother’s relationship and how they used to fight when they were kids so if you’re into that you might enjoy the episode.

In other news, although I stopped reading the Naruto manga (I mean I still read it but only when I buy the full books, I don’t feel like rading the weekly chapters anymore.) However, looking through animenano I’ve been seeing blog entries about the finally coming out of the 2nd Naruto Anime season. Hooray! The bad news is that means filler until probably April O well that means I probably won’t really be watching anymore. Not that I really still watch it anymore but if a filler is funny I’ll check it out. Oh well that’s good news for us Naruto fans, and if I’m still blogging in April I will definitely be doing it on a weekly basis rather than once every 2 months like I do now.

I had a summary lined up for this but it got cut off half way and things have been flying the wrong direction today so I’m not redoing it. In the meantime feel free to visit Impz’s blog and read his take on the episode. I personally enjoyed it, and the ice girl with a major brother complex is annoying even more because of that (whatever her name is.) (Maybe if her brother was hot and not a narcissistic retard. Ok I think I’ll stop now.)

Seems like the plot is progressing here with the introduction of a new character…whose name I have yet to remember. So it appears that Ayako has been avoiding Mamoru like the plague and the whole school knows about it. Mamoru doesn’t know why and when he tries to approach her asking if there was anything he could do, she just tells him that “He’s got nothing to do with it” and then runs off.
