So I think this is the last of the Tsubasa ovas that we’re going to see. That’s a shame because the story is really good and they wasted all of season 2 on absolute crap. I’m also sad to say that while the story is good I can’t see myself constantly buying this manga so I sold the volumes I had to Book Off this past weekend. The scanlated magazine chapters were way ahead of my books so I just read those instead. The OVA was pretty good as usual, great animation and all. It sorta went downhill for me though the moment Card Captor Sakura showed up ^^; Also it’s hard to take Sakura’s efforts seriously knowing that…she’s not the real Sakura. (What is it with Clamp and cloning? Are they on an Evangelion high?)

Unlike the former tjhan (who’s now too whipped to take upskirt figure photos) I don’t spend more than $12 on a figure and I don’t especially go out to take specially composed photos of them. I also try to not buy figures because they end up dust fodder on my manga bookshelf so along with today’s figure, I have a total of 3 and 3 sailormoon nendoroid figures. I also have really bad luck when it comes to trading figures - I never get the one I want (or maybe you can think of it as good luck because 2 of my 3 figures are the “secret” ones ??)

Anyway today at Kinounkiya I was hoping to get the Sumomo figure seen above, but as my luck would have it I got a Shana. It could have been worse: I coulda gotten Wilhelmina Continue Reading »

Man that was pretty damn exciting. When reading the manga I had no idea why there was 2 Shaorans or which one was the good or the bad, but while revisiting this story in anime form it made a lot of things clear for me. So obviously the “evil” Shaoran is a feather capturing machine but he does have all the “omoides” with Sakura. On the other hand, Sakura lost all her memories anyway so now that she’s with the “other” (good) Shaoran, it’s not so bad right? Not like she has any memories with him other than the ones on their feather capturing adventures amirite? Anyone know how long this OVA will be? I mean why couldn’t the TV series be this good? Why did we have to sit through bus chronicles and miss all the awesomeness that the manga had provided!?

So I was putting this off for a while and finally watched it today. Remember my shit hitting the fan post? Looks like the OVA will go well into that, and this episode appeared to be a good segue into this. I actually caught up on the manga up to and including volume 20 which involves a lot of Fai stuff as well. Actually after the Fai stuff I really find Fai to be a disgusting character ^^;. Also this arc is like fangirl fodder for fans of Clover and X but I was never into that so my only interest are the 2 Shaorans running wild and vampire Fai (until further notice anyway.) Can’t wait for the next episode, anyone know when it’ll be out?

This anime and all that encompasses it has been flushed down the toilet.

And NicoNico clearly agrees with me. I mean if Yuuji’s gonna build a harem, I wanna see nice boating - but the fact is there isn’t gonna be any therefore this anime ultimately fails.

Seriously if it wasn’t for NicoNico I don’t think I would have made it through this episode.

LOL Wtf is this, days of our lives? XD I wouldn’t mind if most of Shana was like this except this is just so silly. Especially the end where Shana and Kazumi are on the roof eating alone rofl!! In the words of JP “WE’re gonna kill that bitch then double team him…except you get sloppy seconds.” That’s all I have to say about this episode. Next week seems to be a continuation of this so expect moar photoshop.

So looks like Konoe =/= Hekaslut but I’m probably wrong. I think someone commented telling me she’s Hekaslut’s clone. Well the fact that she looks like her, insists on sitting next to Yuuji and even has the same voice has me agreeing! And looks like next week they’re using her a spark to start a jealousy fire with Shana and Kazumi! Oh the great photoshop ideas this sparks!
