Well I
skipped last week due to disappointment that the Shin/Kanaru scene didn’t really have a continuation. However last week we basically discovered that “the one behind it all” is some half dead (or maybe zombie) old fart who’s trying to keep himself alive on personas but why those idiotic kids are following this old geezer is beyond me. I mean don’t they have better things to do than obey orders of some 200 year old pedophile? Also, it appears that random girl with feathers who’s been appearing in random places…is like his grand daughter (or maybe daughter?) or something. Continue Reading »

Homygod
can someone please explain to me what the hell kagenuki is? Don’t go telling me it’s shadow pulling, shadow losing whatever you wanna translate it to. I just want to flippin’ know WHAT the fuck it is. At this point it gives me the impression of being equivalent to the drug extacy and nothing more. And Kanaru OH god Kanaru, why did you have to become a whore!

I
had some serious de-ja vu when watching this episode. When the first 2 minutes played I was like “did I download the wrong raw wtf?” I double checked and made sure yes this was episode 10. When I scrolled through more I realized there was new material after the opening so when I went back to rewatch from the start I realized why. Continue Reading »

Wow I
really liked this episode. Maybe because it had jokes about love confessions and about girls grabbing guys (and vice versa XD) in the dark because they’re scared of ghosts. I never expected this out of persona but that just makes this show that much more awesome.
Also the plot thickens as Takurou admits having a crush on Megumi and then we got a little blushing and grabbing between Kanaru and Shin. (I never thought of pairing them but hey I’m down with that!) It gets worse because Tachibana is actually Kanaru’s childhood friend but she’s evil! Oh noes! D: Also Jun shows off his super cool sensitive powers this week - he’s like the hero of this whole anime. Shin is just always like “omg wtf is going on someone save me *poops out his Persona*” XD;
Man I love this show. But nobody loves it with me. Everyone only cares when I hate a show.

Despite
my lack of coverage I’m actually still watching this show every week. I just haven’t had anything interesting to say I guess. Most of my entries involve some kind of sarcastic humor or making fun of the show because of bad animation, bad storyline, or bad fanservice. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately?) Persona has great animation, a really nice storyline, and pretty much no fanservice (aside from the random raep scenes in the beginning and the bath scene this week.) So because of that, I don’t have much to write other than “well you know this week was another cool episode which deals with issues like family, or suicide, or how Persona’s affect someone’s way of life etc.” It really is a nice show to watch and enjoy, I have no complaints to make. Perhaps doing a composite post at the end of the series would be better?

Man this
show is deep. It’s so deep I feel shallow making fun of it (and referring to the brotherly grope/tickle scene that could create a whole army of yaoi fangirl fanart/fanfics/doujinshi.) This week the focus is on the 3 brothers and how Ryo says he only takes care of his 2 out of “brotherly obligation” rather than because he wants them to be a family. He offers to pay for Shin and Jun’s new apartment as long as they get “out of his life”. There’s a dramatic scene with some spilled curry which then concludes the episode by showing a mirage of their dead sister Yuki appearing within Jun. Deep stuff man…too bad nobody likes deep stuff and this show is underrated.
Upcoming Attractions: More serious business.

You know
Persona is pretty cool. I have no fucking idea what’s going on, but I generally find it pretty cool to watch while eating a pot of nabe. I mean the first part where Morimoto totally pwned the rapist, that was cool. It was like Higurashi level cool. Afterwards I have no idea what was going on other than Ryou is hiding something from Shin. They introduced “Eiko-neechan” although she seems to be a sisterly figure to them rather than an actual sister (perhaps Shin has a crush on her ?_?) The last part with the random persona battles - I have no idea wtf was going on and why but it was all in generally pretty cool to watch. Kinda like watching a lavalamp ya know? Well hopefully eventually as I watch things will make more sense.
