Persona -Trinity Soul- 20
As usual
Persona does not disappoint with it’s “shat hitting the fan” weekly dosage. At the beginning it shows Jun walking around and coming back to his house…where he finds Ryo sleeping on the couch. As he touches his head, he sees a flashback of what happened to him in the past. After the credits everyone goes to talk to Akihiko who explains that Ayane was the experimental subject of her father - also known as that erojiji who killed Ryo. The group is pretty shocked that he did experiments on his own child (who wouldn’t be?) and they also make note of all the “whale feathers” that are left after all the bizarro events happening lately. think we’re getting resolution to the “wtf’s” instead we’re getting more wtf’s to add to our already growing list. This week features the fact that random people who “went missing” years ago are now coming back…but in the bodies of different people. In this case, Takurou’s father comes back in the form of a young woman. Imagine the look on Takuro’s face when some chick runs up to him going “I’m your father, you’ve grown so big!” 
french, but what the fack? I mean Persona’s been pretty bizarre as of lately anyway but this was like 1 huge acid trip or something 
nice emotional episode this week focusing on Megumi and her family. Basically since she’s been staying with the school dorms she doesn’t see her parents that often. She’s also been adopted so she is not blood related to her mother. (Someone correct me if I’m wrong.) She once had a brother named Tomoya who died in a car accident that her family got in. Everyone but him survived because Megumi who as a loli could use her persona, used it to protect them but did not manage to protect him. 
really interesting the pattern Persona has developed over the last few episodes. The episode starts out pretty calm with lots of talking and planing etc. We have some interaction between all the characters and when I’m tired I have trouble keeping my eyes open when watching. Then the last 8-10 minutes suddenly shit hits the fan, all hell breaks loose and I go “whoa wtf just happened??” That was basically the pattern this week as well.

Before I go into this week’s madness, there’s a new OP and ED this episode. Unfortunately I’m not hot for either of them. I personally got really addicted to the old OP and now they gotta pull out the new one. It sounds like some emo American song by Linkin Park or whatever other band that sounds the same these days. The animation for the OP is kinda cool though, but I don’t know if I’m down with a giant cactus in the ending. I personally preferred school kids with random animal heads.
