So I was wrong, this week actually wasn’t a filler (unless you consider the random scenes of the Shugo Charas racing as filler.) It featured the chapter in volume 4 where they have the volleyball tournament and Kairi & Tadase act as man-cheerleaders. Also featured Rima breaking out of her ice queen facade a little bit. At the end it was revealed that Kairi is in cahoots with Easter because of his sister. At this point I guess I have trouble seeing Kairi as a bad guy since I know what happens later on. Next week is following the story from vol. 5 featuring Yaya and why her Shugo Chara is a baby. I think we’ll possibly get to see her chara-nari as well.

Trying a bit of a different approach this week I’m gonna try to summarize by memory like I do with my other shows - rather than summarize as I watch. This week there were like 4 Molest-Misaki scenes scattered throughout the episode, and it features a really ugly female. I mean, why is it that every female in this anime is so fucking ugly but all the guys are hot? It’s like in Ogiue’s fantasy, how all the ugly fat guys were bishounen and Saki looked like some ugly prostitute lol. I thought this episode was only going to focus on the studying/college crap but it surprised me as nearly halfway through they went right into Christmas. I mean no offense to Kotoko, but sometimes I feel that she and her friends are so stupid. As hard as Japanese mock tests are difficult and all, how the hell can they not know EVERY question? I mean what the hell did you do in class the past year? Because all you guys pressured me into it I’m reading the manga now XD I’m only on like chapter 16 though but that’s still far enough reading that I knew what was gonna happen in this episode. So my thoughts so far? Kaname is a pedobear, Zero is still hot and should get with Yuki. The biggest question I have this week is….

Who’s the trap? I mean I recall in the relevant manga chapter seeing part of someone’s hair but I couldn’t tell if it was a he or she because they didn’t show a face….but I guess it doesn’t matter when it looks like a woman but sounds like a man.

So between last week and now, I actually read all of the Soul Eater manga released in Japan to date..meaning I’m up to ch. 47 and past volume 11. This means I have a crapload of spoilers but I know a lot of people have not read this far so I’m having a hairy time figuring out a good way to blog this show.
