Hay guys remember us!?

So if you’ve only been following the anime and not the manga, guess what your favorite OroButo duo is back (and that’s a pun for the manga readers!) The pacing so far has been going great and next week looks like a promising 1 hour special. I’m so happy that the fillers are kept to a minimum that I feel like I’m walking on thin ice and it will soon collapse making me drown in a cold sea of more fillers. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen. Again great adaptation this week of Kabuto & Orochimaru’s come back and the setup for the Oro vs Naruto fight next week.

Upcoming Attractions: Naruto goes K4.

Darn, I was hoping Sai’s abs would be more emphasized like they were in the manga. So the whole episode pretty much dealt with the simulation between Yamato’s team and what would be Kabuto (woops spoiler!) Surprisingly this lasted only 1 episode thank god and not 2. I thought they’d just drag on with this stupid training for 2 eps or something. Although I have a feeling the oro/naruto/kabuto battle is gonna take like 10 episodes. I think I’d rather them just skip a week of Naruto, then stretch out 2 pages of manga into like 4 episodes. It becomes such a drag to watch - as opposed to waiting a week or 2 then seeing it all in its right speed. (Sometimes I wonder if running Naruto on fast forward will make it more interesting. Those Team Gai scenes in the Gaara arc were the worst!!)

Upcoming Attractions: Kabuto!

Happy Turkey Day - and what turkey day is complete without a well animated episode of Naruto? Yes you heard right, this week the animation was incredibly good - but that was obviously due to the lack of any action going on what so ever. The episode mostly focuses on Yamato doing the team introduction for Sai, Sakura and Naruto. Sai doesn’t make the best impression by calling Sakura ugly and making another penis joke with Naruto. So in addition to the hole in my ceiling, a 2 inch roach ( 4 if you count the antennae - I shit you not it was this big) crawled out of said hole so we had to tape it up. In the next few weeks will be a serious battle between me and the management office (with lawsuit threats and hopefully we can break out) so if anime blogging ceases to exist yea you know why. (But once the dust settles hopefully things will go back to normal.) So anyway this week’s Naruto episode brought back some Nostalgia of Team 8 and Team 10 and added some Hinata filler but back in my fangirly mind, KibaHina footage ftw! Also the Gai running with Kakashi on his back actually made me laugh. Continue Reading »

I decided to make my own contribution. (This is also why today’s anime posts are late XD)

Someone posted a link to a touhou version of this and it inspired me to make a Naruto one…because it’s somehow become a default that when I make parody flash movies they happen to involve Naruto. Oh well enjoy!

Naruto was pretty interesting this week to say the least. Well interesting if you actually read the manga and can breathe a sigh of relief that the neverending Gaara arc is over. It’s really amazing how long a handshake can take and how long Sakura touching a gravestone can take. Sometimes I wonder if before they complete the episode they like take some scenes and just put them in slow motion in order to fill in the exact time slot? I can’t think of any other reason.
