Man the way they stretched out the episode and the way they ended it. I actually tried to play it on fast forward but my windows media player only allows me to do that with mp3s nooo. It seemed like the time that it took Yamato to realize to like “entrap Naruto with the wood” and the time he actually did it was like 10 minutes or something. It makes it seem like he’s some retarded ninja who doesn’t have fast reflexes. Also the time it took for Orochimaru to pop out of his long head looked like he was having a baby through his mouth. Also lol at how they ended the episode making it seem like Sai got stabbed. Come on does he look like a weak pansy who gets stabbed from some little knife beh.

Upcoming Attractions: Listen carefully to Yamato and Sakura’s conversation in the preview. “I can tell by looking at you that you and Naruto…” It’s the ultimate NaruSaku episode don’t miss it!

I’d blog earlier but I was busy looking through bridal magazines. luls So anyways pretty exciting episode this week - well at least it would have been more exciting if we didn’t have a flashback to a scene we saw 2 minutes prior to it. Also I musta seen Oro slither his tongue like 20 times before they finally decided to get on with the fight. They also showed Sakura’s concerned face another 20 times and Sakura and Yamato just sad on that bridge watching all of this progress like they were in some live action movie theatre or something. Geez can you believe we’re already past the halfway mark to 300 e_e? Anyway this episode was pretty good save for the “this week’s keyword is MOKUTON” and the flashbacks to season 1 (just in case you forgot since season 1 ended like 2 years ago and you had to sit through fillers of Sailor Hinata and Tony the Tiger. ) What made JP laugh while watching is when Kabuto gets his ass blown away by Naruto’s flameball (or whatever the hell that was) he totally smacks Sakura and I guess it wasn’t as “obvious” in the manga but here I was like “holy shit that’s gotta hurt! ” Continue Reading »

Hay guys remember us!?

So if you’ve only been following the anime and not the manga, guess what your favorite OroButo duo is back (and that’s a pun for the manga readers!) The pacing so far has been going great and next week looks like a promising 1 hour special. I’m so happy that the fillers are kept to a minimum that I feel like I’m walking on thin ice and it will soon collapse making me drown in a cold sea of more fillers. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen. Again great adaptation this week of Kabuto & Orochimaru’s come back and the setup for the Oro vs Naruto fight next week.

Upcoming Attractions: Naruto goes K4.

Darn, I was hoping Sai’s abs would be more emphasized like they were in the manga. So the whole episode pretty much dealt with the simulation between Yamato’s team and what would be Kabuto (woops spoiler!) Surprisingly this lasted only 1 episode thank god and not 2. I thought they’d just drag on with this stupid training for 2 eps or something. Although I have a feeling the oro/naruto/kabuto battle is gonna take like 10 episodes. I think I’d rather them just skip a week of Naruto, then stretch out 2 pages of manga into like 4 episodes. It becomes such a drag to watch - as opposed to waiting a week or 2 then seeing it all in its right speed. (Sometimes I wonder if running Naruto on fast forward will make it more interesting. Those Team Gai scenes in the Gaara arc were the worst!!)

Happy Turkey Day - and what turkey day is complete without a well animated episode of Naruto? Yes you heard right, this week the animation was incredibly good - but that was obviously due to the lack of any action going on what so ever. The episode mostly focuses on Yamato doing the team introduction for Sai, Sakura and Naruto. Sai doesn’t make the best impression by calling Sakura ugly and making another penis joke with Naruto.
