So this week in the anime world Naruto wastes time by bitching at Kabuto and Kabuto fights some bees. Afterwards they run into Oro’s hideout to open up every room inside to find Sasuke. We had the usual line of Sasooke flashbacks as well as random staring scenes and scenes of a lizard thing eating a sliced bee. That was lovely but I couldn’t actually watch through it. It actually took me about 6-7 minutes to scroll through the entire thing. It looks like next week they will focus on Sai’s stupid picture book and probably add flashbacks, more stares and more CG’ed walls. Continue Reading »

This week Naruto has diarrhea so he uses the powers of Pepto Bismol to get back in shape…er (*inhales deep breath) I mean Naruto, Yamato and Sakura question Sai’s motives in Oro’s base. Sai makes up some bullcrap about how he’s following Danzo’s orders to destroy Konoha and then they tie him up with wooden boners outside the cave. Sai then tells Naruto to stop chasing Sasuke’s ass (for buttsecks) because he’s more interested in hanging (and doing) Orochimaru (and maybe Kabuto for kicks & giggles.) Also in the omake all the NaruSaku communities are squealing over a 1 second pan of Naruto holding a bunch of shopping bags for Sakura. (*exhales) Continue Reading »

So since you guys seem to like the combo-post idea I decided to roll with it. So this week in the Anime world, Yamato gives Sakura & Naruto some drugs and they infiltrate Orochimaru’s base. Sai also gets to meet Sasuke and gets scared out of his pants.

This may be the last “weekly” episode of Naruto that I blog. I just can’t take anymore of flashbacks that are flashbacks of something we saw before the commercial. What’s ironic is this episode was full of NaruSakuness and I should be leaping for joy but like dude, I leaped for joy a year ago, this is old news to me. Also as I mentioned in my last ranty Naruto post I’m just so unmotivated with the entire thing. I mean hell this week it looks as if Sasuke’s about to lose some eyeballs. Ew lol. There’s only a couple scenes in the manga that I actually wanted to see animated - and when they are finally animated (especially any Karin scenes lol) then I may blog about them. But blogging weekly about staring contest and tree leapings is really becoming a drag. Also it’s painfully hard to watch something when you’re already so far ahead that it’s like “god I’m already watching Sasuke fight Itachi and they’re still chasing after Oro =_=’” Sorry to all those who come here for my posts. They won’t be gone permanently but they’ll just be less frequent.

I sure as hell wouldn’t be able to tell the difference!

Anyone who reads the weekly shounen jump scans/books whatever, will have read this week’s chapter and concluded that the entire god damn story revolves around the freaking Uchihas. Why even bother calling it Naruto? At this rate he seems like some background character, and the fact that in part 1 it was so focused on him as the main characte (as it should be since the manga is named after him) makes it all seem stupid and insignificant. “Insert complaint about how they spent 10 minutes showing people’s headshots like it was some kind of cosplay photoshoot.” Well we got our Narusaku moment but it took so long to get to it I almost fell asleep. I can’t decide at this point if it’s better to have actual episodes of filler, or follow the manga but stretch it out so bad that you have to watch it at 2x speed O well this week Sai “betrays” his team mates and goes to join Orochimaru’s buttsecks army with Sasuke and Kabuto. I have a feeling next week they’ll spend 20 minutes flying through the trees talking about how to take a dead body and disguise it as another person. Or something. Also here’s a bonus this week:
