Well that’s it folks. Until god knows when, Naruto Shippuuden is gonna go into fillers. While next week does look like they are going to follow the manga with Naruto’s training, rather than say using that training to follow into the Hidan/Kakuzu/Asuma arc, they’ve created a cast of fugly filler characters (FFC’s) to waste time until further notice. (Notice how there’s never any GOOD looking filler characters?) Anyway due to this, I am halting my blogging of the anime AND the manga for now. Why manga? Because now that the Uchiha fight is over and Tobi is freaking invincible, I have nothing but hatred left for the Naruto series. So since there is no Naruto anime episode this week I figured I’d do a combo post with manga releases. Today I checked out the latest chapter of Naruto of course along with a coincidental upload of the latest chapter of Ouran High School Host club. In my opinion, poop hits the fan more in Ouran than in Naruto, since something incredibly surprising has to happen in Naruto for me to get that kind of feeling…actually Naruto was more of a big joke than anything else. Ok last post for tonight then I gotta pack for Anime Boston. XD Anyway, I meant to post this a while ago but never got around to it. Anyway you guys remember that Shippuuden ending of Naruto where they showed the Naruto cast in a manga style school life kinda situation? Well they actually made a spin off special from that which sorta explains how everything happens. Basically the reason that Naruto got beatup by those yakuzas and stuff is because they attacked Ino Sakura & Hinata. Holy shit 270 episodes and Naruto still hasn’t caught Sasuke. You know I’m gonna say this honestly, at this point not only the anime, but the manga to me is one big joke. It sickens me just to even think about doing Naruto fanart or doing anything towards the Naruto fandom in general. I cannot believe how deteriorated the entire thing has become. So this week in the anime world Naruto wastes time by bitching at Kabuto and Kabuto fights some bees. Afterwards they run into Oro’s hideout to open up every room inside to find Sasuke. We had the usual line of Sasooke flashbacks as well as random staring scenes and scenes of a lizard thing eating a sliced bee. That was lovely but I couldn’t actually watch through it. It actually took me about 6-7 minutes to scroll through the entire thing. It looks like next week they will focus on Sai’s stupid picture book and probably add flashbacks, more stares and more CG’ed walls. Continue Reading »
