This episode
shoulda been called The End of Mushigelion because I had some major dejavu. The ending was pretty cool if you put that factor aside though. I still don’t get this series. I mean I get what’s going on but like why or what’s gonna happen next is still pretty bimyou~ which is another infamous eva trait. I know there’s a season 2 coming so I guess I don’t mind the open ended “ending” but I’m hoping in season 2 the questions will get resolved because I’m still pretty confused on the whole garden thing, and the whole bug and that crazy evil butterfly woman…yea that’s really beyond me. Also is Haji not dead? I wish he was. He was incredibly annoying. Well here’s looking forward to season 2!

Well things get really freaky and I feel like I’m watching the end of eva by the end of the episode. I thought Rina was gonna get killed but somehow she managed to survive a whole freaking army of bug users (and their bugs.) Unfortunately last minute she lost control and the same thing happened to her that happened to Centi - she became like “one” with her bug and completely lost her self. Meanwhile Shiika is confronted by that lady who turned that camera girl into a bug user. Man that bitch is freaky.
What came as a shocker is Shika getting stabbed. I mean why stab the bug user…rather than killing the bug ?_? I don’t get it. First of all Shiika did them all a favor by getting her “I’m gonna kill you all” firefly under control…but no they had to go and stab her…now they’re all gonna get it. I almost felt like I was watching SaiKano again, at least that’s what Shiika’s presence reminds me of. Looks like Daisuke/Kakkou is starting to lose his self control too. I think next week is the last episode, I hope this series goes out with a bang.

You know I’ll be quite honest. I don’t get it. It seems like the plot is moving a long, but I just don’t get it. I keep hearing them say stuff and I go “whoa that’s cool” but then what I though I heard, turns out completely different. I dunno if I’m just so occupied with all the coolness of this show to properly understand the story but it seems too complex for my brain to process. From what I understand, when the bug gets shot, the person gets lifeless and goes to this “garden” or whatever. Continue Reading »

SO because this weekend JRO2 is having a double exp event I am abandoning you all and picking game over blogging. (Well not completely but here’s a super short summary post of 3 shows in 1! JP Is also eagerly awating for OB to end so I can pay attention to him.) Anyway no blogging of Naruto this week because it was draggy and stupid (but at least the stupid Gai team arc finally progressed), but there won’t be any Naruto next week and the following week will be a 1 hour special. Moving on:
Mushiuta 09 - Shiika goes on another date with Daisuke where they blush profusely at a planetarium (where have I seen this before?) and then outside start a discussion of their dreams. By this point both Shiika & Daisuke start to wonder “hay I wonder if she/he is the person from the past that shot me/got shot and now is alive!” Unfortunately for Rina, she runs on the two of them about to have a makeout session and runs off crying Continue Reading »

This image pretty much describes what happened in this episode. Poor Asami, she was really the fun/cute character and they had to rid of her too :/. This show is starting to become a “Shiika x Rina” and “a mushibane dies” of the week. Everytime I watch the preview and someone talks about their dreams, I get the feeling that person will die sometime in the next 2 episodes @@ I mean isn’t this show only 13 eps? Can we get some plot going? Really the only thing I’d like to know is what happened to Kakko…if the camera was broke and he was in it…where is he ?_? That butterfly girl never DID get him out hmm. Well I’m sure he’ll be back. I also find it cute whenever he hears the name Fuyu Hotaru he gets all flustered ;).

So while this
week was mostly a girly episode of bonding between Ladybird & Shiika…I rather enjoyed the flashback for Daisuke on his first mission, as Kakko to kill the Winter Firefly. He came up to her, while she was all alone but instead of shooting her bug, he patted her on the head. He then took her hand and told her “Let’s go, to a place where we will be accepted.” Shiika says “Is that your dream?” and follows up with “That’s good, because that means we feel the same way.” Yay XD I don’t know who said this show wouldn’t have romance but this scene is like the typical anime signal of “ROMANCE” to me >_>. I kinda feel bad for Ladybird though since she totally has a crush on Daisuke. I have a feeling she’ll like find out that he likes Shiika and be sad but get over it, or she’ll just end up dying/becoming a doll etc. I feel also bad for her because of how her dad abused her mom till she died and because she didn’t want to end up like her mom she got the “bug” and then ended up killing her dad. Anyway really enjoying the series, looking forward to next week.

Wow just…wow.
What an intense episode. I know Centi had it coming since last week but I didn’t expect it to turn into what it did. Actually I had intense Full Metal Alchemist vibe here. So it seems they really do turn into…zombies. I just find it weird that they can actually stand rather than lie there like..a doll might. Also that MeiMei? or w/e her name is voiced by Yukarin…well if she wasn’t annoying before, not that she’s a traitor she’s annoying 10x. It appears when Kakkou uses his bug it like takes over his arm and merges with it. (I was getting King of Bandit Jing vibes.)
So then once they shot at Centi’s centipede…I guess it was too late because the bug had “eaten” his dreams or something so it like “merged” with his soul/body/mind/etc. This is where I was like whoa it’s all like FMA & shit eww. Eyeballs mouths and hands in random places yuck lol. It seems like Kakkou also “merged” all the way up to his face with his bug in order to shoot a more powerful …laser thing. It’s interesting how Kakkou’s organization seems to have a better control of their bugs than Ladybird’s gang. So despite Ladybird saving Centi from the bug, she couldn’t save him from the “lose bug lose soul” thing. Poor guy. Sadly my guess next week is mosquito boy might die =/.
