XD I rather enjoyed this episode and for once I’ll give props to Naoki for being pretty awesome when the going gets tough. Glad to see him warming up to Kotoko despite the fact that I wanted to run his balls through a meat grinder. This week they go through the New Years arc but that flew by really fast I pretty much was like Eh? because moments later they started talking about making chocolate for Valentine’s Day. Haha oh shat, now that I read the manga I don’t know what to say in my posts without spoiling up the wazoo!!

As I’m “rewatching” the story and I know what happens, I dislike Kaname a lot less for some reason. Good lawd someone stop me. Zero is still no. 1 in my book.

I thought before Zero got shot by his teacher, he bit Yuuki? From the way the anime made it seem is that he was about to bite her but then he was compelled to grab her and dive into the water like she’s his blow up water toy. I mean if he bit her, shouldn’t there have been blood all over the place similarly to when he got shot? Or did he manage not to make a mess 2nd time around? Oh well I’m actually looking forward to next week where hopefully Yuuki will pledge to do naughty things with Zero (if you get my drift.)

Well what can I say I can’t even remember this arc in the manga…I was getting it jumbled up with another arc from like volume 7 and I know this is gotta be somewhere in the beginning. I’m having trouble recalling if there was a “massive ice cream scoop cone” vs “Hikari juggling 3 massive cotton candy sticks” scene though..that was kinda weird. Also I don’t know but for some reason the characters’ faces get more and more square every week. Maybe it’s my imagination I dunno. At least this week no one’s voice really bothered me. Next week they’re gonna introduce what’s his face, the one Megumi likes. Let’s all pray that his voice doesn’t pop our eardrums.

Ohmanohmanohman this episode had me pumped in all sorts of ways!!

Also, I’ve really given up on late show at this point. Based on the pattern of the last 4 episodes, late show has become basically a “sneak peek” into further episodes as they would either show footage or just run the next episode period. They didn’t even show that “pantsu interrogation” scene (which you can find in this post) hence why the answer is: No, they do not show “more fansservice” during the late showing. Continue Reading »

Yume, why do you bother with your no personality “nii-san” when you have skillz in studying, skiing and hell look at this screenshot, you could even be a ballerina! But no, you gotta go dreaming up some nightmares about your dear “nii-san” and how the two of you will die in a skii accident. At first I thought it was a flashback to some childhood trauma, but then in the end it turned out to just be a nightmare she had. Blah, and I thought they’d give Yume some depth. I haven’t read anyone’s posts about the game routes to avoid spoilers, but I find this a disappointment. Also, guess what guys, this week Nanaka had like 6 lines!

Pardon my french, but what the fack? I mean Persona’s been pretty bizarre as of lately anyway but this was like 1 huge acid trip or something It started with Jun having telepathic conversations with Ayane, the girl with the pink hair who always appears to Persona users surrounded by a buttload of feathers. For some reason, she had Jun’s book and she and Jun became a bit “close”. Ironically enough Jun says “with her I can be alone” and she says “with Jun I’m not alone”. Wtf Continue Reading »

So I was wrong, this week actually wasn’t a filler (unless you consider the random scenes of the Shugo Charas racing as filler.) It featured the chapter in volume 4 where they have the volleyball tournament and Kairi & Tadase act as man-cheerleaders. Also featured Rima breaking out of her ice queen facade a little bit. At the end it was revealed that Kairi is in cahoots with Easter because of his sister. At this point I guess I have trouble seeing Kairi as a bad guy since I know what happens later on. Next week is following the story from vol. 5 featuring Yaya and why her Shugo Chara is a baby. I think we’ll possibly get to see her chara-nari as well.
