Welcome to Ex-Fansubber Hitorigoto. (In case you couldn’t read the Japanese ;)) This blog is run by a girl who goes by the nickname Hinano.

I used to be a fansubber (Choco Fansubs) from about 2001 to 2003. I got tired of running a 1 [wo]man group and eventually quit. I continued in the world of fandom by scanlating an assload of manga but after everything I did got licensed I dropped that too. The only thing I do for the anime community these days is draw fanart and course update this blog with summaries from raws that I watch.

This blog originally started out at animeblogger.net (Thanks Maestro!) but because JP is now my boyfriend fiance, I decided to move in with him on his domain name. Comments/questions are always welcome and I will try to respond to them the best I can. If you need to contact me please send stuff to ayuchan “AT” kittymail “DOT” com. I warn you I get a lot of spam in there so please in the subject put something in CAPS that you’re trying to say (i.e. EXFANSUBBER BLOG QUESTION or something.) Putting stuff like “Hey” and “hi there” I’m gonna just assume it’s spam as spam is pretty clever these days.

At this time, I no longer take blogroll requests because blogs come and go so fast these days. Sorry to all those who wanted to link exchange. You are still free to link to this site, but I am not guaranteeing that I will link back to you.

Please also understand that this blog is not “absolute” word. I try to keep a fairly neutral take on most posts but I will often take tangents into Hinano Sarcastic Opinion land which will sometimes create Rant & Rave posts.
