Well looks like the bastards got what they deserved at this year’s Otakon. For those who don’t keep up with artist alley stuff or deviantfart, basically these two morons who grab multiple tables at every con I’ve been to this year (Anime Boston - 3, Anime Next - 2) they decided to be daring and register 14 tables at this year’s Otakon.
Come on guys 14 fucking tables of the same exact prints? Did you think no one would notice LOL! 
And now they are being repeatedly flamed on DA by their former fangirls and boys. LOL zama miro bitches!
What disappoints me is that Otakon is trying to find a legal means to “straighten” this out but there really isn’t a “legal” way to do it since these weasels got their friends to sit there and man their 14 tables. I heard they pulled this shit at like every single con this year including Metrocon and Anime Expo. I suppose no one really noticed until they had 14 tables of course. 
Wow that’s funny, we coulda had like 12 other artists that didn’t all look generic and identical (I swear they have like a template that they trace over & over for their faces or something) but no the poor Otakon con goers had to walk by the same shit over and over to the point where they thought they may have been going in circles!
Anyway, do I encourage flaming? Yes! LOL

14 tables?! That’s riciculous. Ramy even has nice art, but it’s no use if you have the wrong attitude. Tempted to write comments at deviantART but don’t want to get in trouble there!

I don’t know much about art, nor have I heard of any of these people/drama. But looking at those two art pages, the stuff looks really bland and without much detail. I dunno, I have gigs of images from 4chan and other dumps that look much better. Stuff is way too shiny too.
It’s sad when the absolutely spectacular artists only have one measly table and are barely noticed. ;___;

I can understand wanting for more tables, and I don’t care if they get tables… but something of THAT SIZE. WTEFF. 
Get come common sense please. I honestly don’t truly care who or what’s in the artists alley (I barely buy things in there anyways), but to attempt something of the scale, and actually achieve it is completely crazy.
But what’s done is done. Unfortunately doing this has probably screwed their chances of getting tables for a long, long time.

I mean there’s photographic evidence, hell at Anime Boston I saw 3 tables with my own eyes, at anime next I saw 2. Selling the SAME PRINTS at multiple tables whether its 4 or 14 to me is unacceptable. :043:

… and I thought I may have been losing it. Only went to Artist Alley once during Otakon but didn’t notice much since my right eye started to hurt like a heck. I was however wondering why, before the blinding pain, there seems to be similar art (styles) at a lot of tables.
But man, 14 tables?! Come on, how could you NOT get caught? I guess they thought they were being smarties or something. heh.
Wow, I didn’t realize they were such tables whores. I ran across them at Fanime this last year, but they certainly didn’t have an amount of tables on that scale

Ooh. Actually, I went to the link for Ramy’s da and he said he had only 4 tables, and there were about 15 at the convention that were left unused. And he also addressed some other points including the “mass produced shit shiny desu art” (that’s an exact quote from his entry).
I dunno what happened exactly, but after reading his entry it sounds like it’s being overblown.
Aww. Now I actually feel kinda bad for him. Assuming his entry is the truth.
If Hinano had had 14 tables in the artist alley, maybe she would have sold more prints. You could just sell one print or doujinshi at each table!

Shin, Comiket is more professional and they must have maximums limits considering the amount of people trying to book space.
The reason they got away with 14 tables is nobody tried to book 14 tables before … ifs a simple matter of adding limits, 1-2 tables per circle.
I’m sure that they had limits, hence why aliases, friends and relatives were used
I really think it’s all B.S. Ramy had a good response to the whole situation and even though I didn’t go to the con- I’m quite convinced that he only had 4 tables.
People just aren’t very creative with their art styles these days- and unfortunately, that goes for Ramy, too. Talented as he is, and I suppose his girlfriend as well, there’s no unique, originality in their drawings and clearly the same applied for several other artists at Otakon.
But really, I don’t think anyone’s desperate enough to hijack 14 tables at a con. It’s just stupid.
Like I said, though, I wasn’t there. It’s really just my opinion…

it really doesn’t matter if he had 4 or 14 tables… if he sells unoriginal crap where he’s ripping off his own stuff from last year regardless if it’s mass-produced or not, it pretty much sounds like he’s just greedy.
