Itazura na Kiss - 18
Until I 
figure out the deal with Itazura na Kiss and its airing/raw posting schedule, I’m just gonna play it by ear at this point. 
So as usual Naoki is jealous that Keita and Kotoko spend a lot of time together and he begins to treat Kotoko back like he did in high school. On the other hand, Kotoko thinks that Tomoko likes Keita and wants to “cheer them on”. Of course the only thing Tomoko likes is playing with human intestines. 
In addition, when during one of the trials Kotoko sees all the human guts and passes out, Keita takes her to the infirmary to rest. While she’s sleeping there, he’s about to lean down and kiss her, but then Naoki shows up asking “What were you planning to do next with someone else’s wife?” He says he will take care of things and Keita leaves. Unfortunately Naoki gets called out to look at something and simultaneously Kotoko wakes up alone in the infirmary having no idea that Naoki cared for her.
She comes back into the classroom and then Keita takes her home because she still seems a bit queezy. On the way home they run into Naoki’s mom and then Keita leaves. After this the mom spies on Keita to find out what kind of guy he is, and comes to the conclusion that he’s the perfect man, better than her own son who will steal Kotoko away from him. 
In the meantime Kotoko realizes Naoki is being “tough” on her and not spoiling her, but wishes inside that he showed some “care”. (Well he does, he’s just being a tsunderella again.)
The next day Motoki comes wailing that his online boyfriend dumped when he found out it’s a trap. 
So to make Motoki feel better they all go out drinking. Kotoko asks Naoki if it’s okay but he’s all like “why are you asking MY permission do whatever you want.” Kotoko gets upset and says “fine I will”. While Motoki and the others act like idiots, Keita asks Kotoko why did she marry Naoki. He says that Naoki doesn’t treat her and ignores her a lot. Kotoko gets upset and decides to leave early. While she’s walking back, Keita runs after her and glomps her from behind telling her not to go home to Naoki. Meanwhile Naoki is sitting at home being emo in a dark room.

the episode kinda annoyed me because there’s not much of conflict between naoki and keita, which is actually what i expected
and wanted to see. but yeah thanks for your summary…. made the raw more understandable to me.
This has got to be some common Japanese dramatic device that I haven’t grasped yet, but I fail to understand why everybody’s after people right after they’ve gotten *married*… I mean, seriously, isn’t there like a universal time-out-hands-off grace period or whatever?
Man, that honeymoon post-coital glow didn’t last too long. Naoki, ur doin it rong. (Or, more likely, not enough.)
Tch, this episode made me feel worse.
Naoki better confront Keita about what his intentions are towards Kotoko and he better tell Keita to leave her alone, or I’m going to be pissed.

Yes, its called everyone becomes stupid and does the wrong thing … it happens when the writer runs out of ideas and then creates this type of situations that would never happen if any of then actually used their brain
Also do not take it the wrong way, its somewhat common now but the manga started in 1990 were they were likely far less common.
I didn’t really mind the KeitaxKotoko moments too much. It’s about time Naoki got jealous, since Kotoko technically was jealous of Naoki and the girls that surrounded him her whole life.
Besides, at least Kotoko DID something when she was jealous- all Naoki does is go emo in his room lol.
I love Naoki’s mom though.
Tomoko… not so much the innocent one, right?

And I dunno what to say about now…. I pretty much said what I wanted on the prvious ep which also ties into this ep. Anyway, like I said, Naoki’s jealous like we wanted, but he deals with it the wrong way.
I feel a bit bad for Naoki because he actually has been nice lately. Oh well, he will soon go claim his woman I’m guessing.
Haha, don’t expect much! It gets complicated after. At the end of the Keita arc, he does claim back his woman in a “cute” way, but then immediately turns back to Mr. Asshole.
The arguement between them was different in the manga… All I remember was Kotoko throwing books and shit at him, and saying he had never loved her. Or maybe this arguement was somewhere else… Well, whatever, they have too many arguements.
In the preview, I’m going to take a longshot. In the manga, it’s the end of the volume, so since Kin-chan and Naoki are talking in the preview, this is what happens (I’m 60% sure it probably is saying what happened in the manga). Naoki is talking to Kin-chan, and saying he doesn’t know what he’s feeling, wtf is up, etc. Kin-chan laughs at him and tells him he’s jealous of Keita and Kotoko. Naoki is all shocked and “wtfman”. End volume.
Ep 19 or ep 20 will be the end of the Keita arc…
for some reason i think i might drop this show. looking at naoki just makes me wanna :043: him. he looks wierd.. and kotoko look s like a 14 year old. so for me. its kind of wierd. like a pedophile vibe

Stupid Naoki isn’t even trying to make Kotoko feel loved, the proud bastard. I hope Keita pounds Naoki into dust and make Naoki question his behavior. May Naoki come to fear losing Kotoko, for fear is the beginning of wisdom.
how can you drop this show. it’s awsome. i hope that boy gets his act together. and tells keita to get lost. things are going to get good i think. this and special a are the best anime i have seen in a while
I’m probably alone in this, but I flipping hate Naoki and frankly am sick of him XD. Naoki is your typical asshole shojo boy that the lead shojo girl faps over for absolutely no reason at all. I don’t see this guys upside, and in most shojo’s the guy has shown more then just two moments of kindness
! Take Kyo from Fruits Basket, I didn’t mind him at all, because though he was the “bad” boy, he defiantly had his sweet side.
Naoki = ugh. Keita for the win XD! Which I know could never happen… but hey, I can dream can’t I

Ok this episode was soo frustrating to watch. I’ve been waiting sooo long for a guy (other than Kin-chan) to fall in love with Kotoko and tries to steal her away from Mr. Tsun-Tsun
(a.k.a. Naoki). So when Keita comes in, I thought “Yay! Finally someone threatens Naoki’s I’m-too-hot-for-you and I-can’t-lose-my-cool-cause-I’m-too-cool attitude.” 
I was expecting Naoki to show that he doesn’t only have a figurative cold headed attitude and have actually have a “IF-YOU-TOUCH-MY-WOMAN-YOUR-GOOD-AS-DEAD-BASTARD!” attitude.. 
BUT NO, he had to have “if-someone-steals-my-wife-I’m-gonna-go-into-a corner;-cry,-and-become-an-emo” attitude. This soo pissed me off. I thought for sure he’s fight back!!! :043:
Even though Naoki maybe a cold hearted bastard, he’s a tsun-tsun… and for some reason I always have a soft spot for those type of guys. (Not that I’d ever be able to date one, I’d probably get to pissy and start yelling about how they have no heart when they were born or something lame and corny like that}
but when you somehow catch a tsun-tsun’s heart… it’s just soo cute to watch xD

episode 19 was a true disappointment.. i thought that naoki ’s silence was the calm you hear right before the storm. (he’s basically calm) so i was dying to see a furiously jealous husband…
i mean he shuts his yap for ages, treat his wife coldly, the least you could expect is a decent reaction… but a slap?
