No Bra: A Pretty Face TRAP MANGA successor?
So I went to One Manga the other day and noticed they put up a new series called “No Bra.” (It’s probably not a new series but new to the site.) So I’m reading it here and I’m thinking…can this technically be considered some sort of yaoi for men? I mean I’m only on chapter 9 so I don’t know of any spoilers but from what “I know” so far, it’s 2 dudes kissing.
For some reason I predict that in actuality trap-chan is a GIRL forced to live as a guy so she/he/it has a case of mistaken identity. However really wanting to live as a girl, he/she/it decides to continue dressing up/acting like one. Also look at its curves. Trap or not, men don’t have thighs like that! 
In some scenes even it looks like Yuki even has breasts and during any kind of panty flashing there’s no bulge! 
When I read pretty face I never really considered it on the same level because the guy had his face mangled and wanted to make the girl he loves happy. Therefore he had no choice but to be a temporary trap. However, with this, the “guy” (supposedly) is like OMG I WANNA BUTTSECKS U MAAKUN and Ma-kun is all like “oh shi I’m turning gay!” 
So it’s like a totally different situation here.
Well anyway it’s still funny to read but with scenes like the male lead sucking the manboobs of his fat male friend I start to wonder what kind of audience this manga is meant for.

I read that a year ago. Yuki has to be the most scariest/pro trap ever. I wonder how did he hide his bulge when wearing a swimsuit.
Oh I am sorry. Did not see that you are only at chapter 9. But anyway, you know that he is good at hiding the bulge.
I went through the whole thing (my japanese is very, very limited, but it is not that difficult to follow) and I am still not sure what the target audience is. It has its fun moments, but it is overall very harmless and forgettable.
BTW, the author also does ero-manga under the pen name of Ra-kailum. He is very good at sexy female bodies, IMO. The hair in his characters are always a little bit “angled”, but somehow I like it.
The fat dude cracks me up for some reason.

P-Dash: Meh. I don’t think it’s a bad thing personally.
There’s a lot of silliness involved in the manga to keep it from getting too serious in the “But we’re both guys!” factor, and I do think that the wackyness (like with his fat friend) doesn’t work out too well. I agree with Nemo_N that it’s harmless and forgettable. But I do want to see some actual “proof” that Yuki is in fact a guy. C’mon!
You know, I started reading “No bra” out of curiosity and man! What the hell is it exactly? It could be a yaoi, but then it is still a shonen… And Yuki is way too feminine as to be a guy, but well… I suppose he’s the king of the raps, or something like that!

Yeah, I read this yesterday too, and was confused a bit and then rationalized it. The hard slapstick is totally shonen (including the thoroughly disturbing, sucking on his friend’s manboobs scene), and I guess in a way the romance is too. Working in Japanese elementary and middle schools for the past year, you wouldn’t believe the “okama” jokes that go flying around, and yet for all of that *the boys are constantly hanging all over each other in very intimate ways*, even to the point of holding hands. It’s made me realize that Japanese girls don’t even have to extend their imaginations very far at all to put these guys into relationships together.
Well I am surprised seeing a “No Bra” entry in this blog.
Maybe you want to pick up “Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa” next … after all once you start down that path there is no turning back.

All you need to do is draw a pretty girl, write “Is actually a guy” next to the picture, and blammo! Instant broken. Hell, I should know.
I dropped No Bra when I heard spoilers that disappointed me quite a bit. Seeing as how I was “broken” long before there ever was such a thing as Bridget, hearing about the ending was a bit of a bummer.
And Drakron: I think, er, “that” is something else entirely. Related, sure, but it’s not exactly like this sort of gender-based weirdness exists on a sliding scale. Or flowchart.
Besides, BnFnT can get right up there in explicitness.

I read this a long while ago, and sadly there has been little progress on how many chapters were translated since then… It was quite an interesting read, even with the fact that it is a guy (i feel I should be more affected by that but nothing…)
I say the biggest difference between this and Pretty Face. This has quasi-yoai (technically full maybe) while Pretty Face had quasi-yuri. I am so confused, why do I read Gender Benders 0_o

Well “Boku no Futatsu no Tsubasa” is certainly on its own scale, I disagree is graphic explicit since outside nipples you really do no see anything, of course its explicit on other areas were they are not leaving much to the imagination.

this manga was hilarious (and well…arousing) when I read it…I think it was 2 to 3 years ago (it was in Chinese, I believe).
At any rate, I thought it had a decent story, the main character is a perverted wuss, but hey, at least he makes the right choices in the end.
And yeah, first ‘trap’ manga for me, it was…..awkward (because it was arousing).
